The A–B Combo (エービーコンビ, Ē Bī Konbi), renowned as the Strongest Tag-Team (最強タッグ, Saikyō Taggu),[1] is a sibling team from Kumogakure. It consists of A — the son of the Third Raikage — and Killer B who is recognised as A's brother, after he successfully beheaded a training dummy during a selection process.[2]
Their signature technique, the Double Lariat, is well known and feared greatly outside of Kumogakure.[3] The two brothers spent many years perfecting their technique and even perfected it to the point where A and B could use this technique clad in Lightning Release Armour and the tailed beast cloak respectively to increase the technique's already devastating effects.[4] This team was effectively disbanded after the Third died and A took up office as the Fourth Raikage, confining his brother to the village out of fear of losing him as well.[5]
It was later effectively re-established after the war. Soon after, Darui and C adopted it as they became Raikage and Head Ninja respectively. Then, Mamoru and Kei would adopt this team, and the titles of A and B.

A tradition passed down from the start of Kumogakure, the Raikage, who would take the name A took a tag team partner named B and together they were feared as the top two shinobi of the Land. Together they are mostly feared for their taijutsu abilities, and mastery over other areas.

At some point in their early history, the duo was tasked with retrieving an unknown scroll. Killer B, much to A's surprise, managed to do so before he was told the purpose of his mission.[6]
Trivia[]
- At least two additions of this combo (A and Killer B and Mamoru and Kei have been masters of LRA and Gyūki. However the latter tag team has even more specialization.
