Overview
A technique created by Shigure in the battle against the leader of Kara, Jigen, it takes the form of a single sword strike, with her senjutsu-enhanced sword. The name of the technique originates from Shigure's belief that the immeasureable heat of the blaze powering her sword carries the ability to cut through the very fabric of the universe itself; it was first used against Jigen to stop him from escaping the attacks of Wakame Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha with a portal as she thought that she would be able to destroy the portal before it fully opens with her flame-enhanced sword strike. However, the true purpose of the technique is the fact that it is most effectively used as a repetitive chain attack. For Shigure, who is said to be the world's most powerful swordsman, regardless of her gender, she is able to perform an attack multiple times in a single instant with this technique; the strength of this technique combined with the talent of the swordsman herself made it powerful enough to shatter Isshiki Ōtsutsuki's Disruption Cubes and cut off his arm from afar due to the technique's 'ability' to slash dimensions itself.
Drawbacks
As powerful as this technique is, it is dangerous if used for too long. The technique places a strain on Shigure's body not unlike the strain brought about by entering the Eight Gates Released Formation as Shigure essentially exchanges her 'life force' to create such a powerful technique. Fortunately, she was left in merely a state of great exhaustion for several weeks after the final battle against Isshiki, a very merciful fate considering what could have happened to her if the fight went on for longer.
Trivia
- This technique is inspired from Chifuyu Nanahara's ultimate skill, Cut Down Cherry Tree, from Counter:Side.
