Akujin (悪神, Evil God) is a Monk from Konohagakure who was tasked by his holiness to cleanse the Shinobi world of evil. Akujin had been gifted with a special Fire Release Technique which allowed him to turn his enemies into ashes, believing to erase their souls as well. Akujin also exist as one of the strongest monks to date, having a great mastery of Fuuinjutsu as well as Taijutsu.
Akujin must travel from land to land, hunting those who he deems evil. Anyone who practices Unholy or taboo arts are punished by Akujin who burns them into a crisp. His cleansing flame known as, Shōkan, has scorched Akujin's name into many scrolls.

Akujin is said to be the reincarnation of Buddha sent to the Human World with a duty of cleansing it of all evil and spreading his word. Such a rumor has been backed by Akujin's immense physical prowess and special chakra nature. As a Monk, Akujin holds unlimited access to any location. People often beg for his presence as it brings holiness and scares off demons. In times of fear, common folk have abandoned all their hope in their government figures and entrusted Akujin. He has made final decisions for various leaders as their people would like a Holy opinion. It is believed that Akujin holds a level of divine intervention. If he believes it to be unholy in anyway, those who believe are forced to stop on his orders. Akujin is believed to be the only true interpreter of God. Akujin's reach spreads far and wide, overwhelming some incredibly valuable political figures. When question, Akujin's holy flames are enough to show his true power in the Universe. When not cleansing souls, Akujin's services are also called for duties such as blessings and spiritual guidance.

Akujin has mastered Ninja Monk Arts which are developed mostly for the advancement of oneself. Titled "Konoha's Strongest Monk." and "The Buddhist Reincarnate", Akujin's Monk abilities are widely praised. He has fought demons such as Mōryō and even managed to seal him a second time. Akujin free'd a town from The Zero Tailed Leech's influence and kept from being poison due to his holy soul. Akujin's word carry a certain level over evil spirits. His presence can disrupt evil and fight against ill will.
Welcoming Approach: Thousand-Armed Murder.[]
This is the ultimate technique of the Fire Temple that is taught only to its ninja monks, and requires the special Gift of the Hermit Group chakra. The technique is activated when Akujin takes a specific stance with his left hand making a half-ram and then extending his right hand down with his palm parallel to the ground. Once the stance is taken, the spirit of the Thousand-Armed Kannon is summoned to defend him, or attack Akujin's enemies. The spirit is normally calm, angelic and looks peaceful. However, whenever he his angry, the spirit turns red and transforms into a demonic-looking creature. Kannon then attacks the Akujin's target with its 1000 spirit fists. Akujin mastered Welcoming Approach: Thousand-Armed Murder with such a mastery he is able to send waves of A thousand fist as well as manipulate them mentally. His only downside being he must remain in his holy position.

Akujin's Soul holds a Holy Protection spell which keeps him immune to outside influences. He can resist techniques such as Will Materialisation as well as cleanse others. Those who look upon Akujin, can feel his soul physically drawing them.

Akujin can gain direct information about an object, person, location or physical event through means of touching something close to his target. An advance sensory technique, Akujin's clairvoyance comes from a direct spiritual link between a person and object.

Yin Release: Gate of Nirvana[]
Akujin developed a seal developed by Tsunade which is reputed to be the pinnacle of chakra control. By storing chakra over an extended period of time into a specific point on his body, the wisp between his eye brows, Akujin creates this seal which manifests in the form of an eye. Once the seal is formed, Akujin can only release it in dire situations as it will require time to build up enough Yin Release Chakra. Once released, the stored Yin Release chakra rapidly rushes throughout Akujin's mind, opening his third eye, which takes the form of a third eye literally opening on his forehead. As the name states, Akujin enters a state of Nirvana, or Enlightenment. His mental capacity increases exponentially as he gains an ability to understand and comprehend things far beyond human limits.
