Amenonaemasu is a powerful Genjutsu technique of the Mangekyō Sharingan Dōjutsu and noted to be one of the most powerful Genjutsu in existence. It is accessed in Kama Uchiha's left eye and Heiwa Uchiha's right eye.
Usage[]
This technique is noted by Kama to be of the highest Calibre, and is the counterpart of Amenowakahiko; a powerful genjutsu in its own right. Few have lived to tell the tale after having this Illusion casted at them. It's sheer power is feared all around the shinobi world after its usage from its progenitor; Heiwa Uchiha.
The user instantly projects a powerful Illusion in the target's whereby the target is tormented by a fabricated memory of their past flaws and/or mistakes. This makes it versatile in a sense that even the purest of hearts will succumb to the illusion. The memories are fabricated by the user and the targets are made to think that the memories are real. Because of this, targets are not able to realize that they are in genjutsu, thus would not be able to even attempt releasing it.
Immediately after the victim is induced with the illusion, they become extremely depressed and their stress levels skyrocket. They will begin losing their sanity and concentration along with the disturbance of chakra, loss of concsiousness and eventually death. During this time, they become easy kill for the user in the real world. Many victims are seen screaming for mercy whilst others endlessly cry as "their inner darkness" is projected at them. This technique would require the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and be of the same Uchiha blood to release. It is said that no matter how others may attempt to release the target, it is futile and cannot help.
Drawbacks[]
This technique causes irritation and pain to Kama's left eye and uses a lot of chakra. Kama cannot do the technique more than once a day. Heiwa, with his Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and incredibly high chakra reserves, can use it up to three times per day.
Trivia[]
- This technique is named after Amenonaemasu-no-Kami, a japanese Kami (Deity).
- Unlike most Uchiha clan Genjutsu, the technique does not require eye-contact as Kama has performed it without even looking at the target.
