Purple Moon Religion Arc[]
The Purple Moon Religion is the sole form of worship on Purple Moon Island, being compulsory for all 3,000 of its residents. The religion was established by a small group of ninja who first settled the island and came to revere nature. The Purple Moon Religion worships nature above all else, believing that Mother Nature is responsible for protecting them. For this reason they reject the influence that the Mizukage has over the neighbouring Land of Water, and as such they have little contact with that or any other country.
The Purple Moon Religion disapproves of most forms of mass transit, effectively isolating them from the rest of the world and thus rendering their religion unknown to foreigners. Because Konoha and the wider Land of Fire have fuelled the technological advances that have made travel over great distances so much easier over the last few years, they have earned the ire of the Purple Moon Religion's leader. This causes a small extremist faction to form within the Purple Moon Religion that is bent on destroying Konoha, the hope being that without Konoha there will be a halt to the continuing availability of free travel. Most of these extremists attempt to destroy Konoha with terrorist bombings across the Land of Fire. One extremist, Lily Himeno, tries instead to simply destabilise Konoha as a spy, achieving similar results without civilian casualties. After the combined efforts of Arikurin and Team 7, all the extremists are either captured or take their own lives fighting Konoha's ninja. Lily is subsequently recruited by the Seventh Hokage to liaise with rest of the Purple Moon Religion and convince them to update with the times.

Before he could act, Otogakure leaked the information of the planned invasion to Konoha. Konoha opposes the invasion and encourage Iwa's Fourth Tsuchikage not to support Danjō's plans. When this fails, they appeal to the Land of Fire's daimyō, Ikkyū Madoka, who decides to offer some of his own country's territory to the Land of Earth as an alternative to invading Flowers. Such a transfer of lands would require the approval of all surrounding countries, something Shikamaru arranges a Continental Summit to decide.

Arikurin ordered his team to split up to find the "earring shinobi brothers" who were rumored to have the Hashirama Cell. Yukihiro and Aoi split off, while Arikurin create multiple Swiftlet Clones. It doesnt take long for Arikurin to find the Haze shinobi's tracks. However, along the way, his clone was intercepted by Deepa, who was also looking for the Hashirama Cell. Deepa proved unfazed by everything they attempted being ultimately defeated before tracking the cell. Arikurin returns to a battered Omoi and his dead teammates. Omoi revealed what happened to his team, noting that the new enemy was on his way directly to the Land of Haze. After healing Omoi enough to move again, he decided to stay behind and return to Kumo as he would slow them down in his condition.
Elsewhere, Aoi and Yukihiro finally caught up to the ones who stole the Hashirama cells until Deepa announces his presence and swiftly struck down the remaining quadruplets. Before Deepa could attack, Aoi launched several kunai at the enemy. However his kunai harmlessly bounced off Deepa's body. He then barrages Yukihiro with his carbon attacks. He also noted the existence of "Outers" who apparently worked as spies for Kara. Later that night Arikurin sent a message to Shikari in Fuyugakure in hopes that Shikari and his ANBU have any intel.
The Land of Valleys[]

As they snuck in deeper, they soon saw that several new patients were brought to a restricted area, never to come out. To his surprise, he saw a doctor from Iwagakure that supposedly died during the Fabrication Uprising. Before the daimyō and his retinue arrived at Victor's company. Konohamaru and Mugino knocked out two of his guards and transformed into them while Arikurin continued to investigate using his Silent Humming Bird Technique. As Victor shows the daimyō his research, claiming that with the Hashirama Cell, they're on the verge of curing previously incurable diseases, and making ageing a thing from the past. Snapped out of the genjutsu, allowed him to see the human subjects of Victor's experiments. The people in stasis were in fact being used as nourishment for Victor's true project. While the daimyō was ashamed of his blindness to Victor's deceit, he agreed to let the Konoha-nin act as needed. Victor however activated his experiment, revealing a miniature God Tree that began consuming all targets. Arikurin stood in shock, seeing a God Tree for the 3rd time.Victor then approached, explaining that he took fragments of the dead God Tree after the war ended, nurturing them with the Hashirama Cell and the various test subjects. He voiced his joy at how the people of Land of Valleys would be consumed by the God Tree to produce Chakra Fruit. As the tree continued to grow and rampage, the daimyō was briefly ensnared with most of his chakra drained.
Arikurin dealt with Victor while Konohamaru held off the tree long enough for Mugino to get the daimyō away as he was the only credible witness to Victor's crimes. As Arikurin gained the upper hand on Victor, the inner decided to go after the God Tree's fruit for more power. To his horror, the God Tree ensnared him like the other victims. Upon returning to the Oto-ANBU HQ, Arikurin revealed what they learned about Victor and his involvement with Kara. He also noted the existence of "Outers" who apparently worked as spies for Kara. In light of this news and what was discovered after investigating Victor's company, Arikurin tasks his subordinates in Otogakure ANBU to investigate “Kara”.

Arikurin's clone then attempted to attack from Ao's blindside but he saw through the attack, quickly blocking with his prosthetic arm. He then blasted Arikurin with attacks from mirror drone. However, it is revealed to be a swiftlet clone.
At the same time, the real Arikurin appears above the mirror drones, destroying 2 in the process. Using his Byakugan Arikurin, surmises they respond to Ao's chakra. All of a sudden, Team 7 appears. The team had faced Ao earlier and devised a plan to take advantage of Ao's high usage of ninja tech. To begin their counterattack, Mitsuki, Sarada, and Konohamaru pressured Ao with a barrage of ninjutsu attacks, all of which were quickly absorbed by the gauntlet. Boruto then attacked from Ao's blindside during the assault with his chakra-blade, but the seasoned enemy saw through the attack, quickly blocking with his prosthetic arm, forcing Boruto to drop his weapon. Ao then grabbed the tech weapon, which quickly drained Ao of his stamina. This allowed Arikurin to land a blow and send him against the abandoned building.
Defeated, Team 7 approaches Ao. Ao, however, notices and calls out to Koji, who summons a toad. As the building begins to collapse under the toad's weight, Ao uses Water Release to push Boruto out of the debris' way, and is crushed by the toad. Koji congratulates the shinobi for defeating Ao, with Konohamaru asking him on information about Kara. Upon no response, Arikurin summons clones but Koji seals their movements with fūinjutsu and readies himself to incinerate them. Suddenly, the seal on Boruto's hand activates and his Kama spreads, absorbing the seal. Koji recognizes it as Kāma, flees using Reverse Summoning.
Kawaki Arc[]
Kawaki was detained at the Advanced Technology Research Institute in Ryūtan City, prompting Naruto and Sai to go immediately and meet the boy. After Katasuke inspected Kawaki, he revealed that Kawaki's body had been significantly modified by microscopic Scientific Ninja Tools that have altered his body down to the level of his nervous and circulatory systems and his level of advanced Shinobi Ware. The next day, alarm goes off when Kamawi attempts an escape. Sumire feels responsible for telling Kawaki there were scientific ninja tools on the facility, and runs into him. She tries to restrain him, but he overpowers her with a shinobi gauntlet. In response, Nue attacks Kawaki, injuring his arm. Kawaki flees while Sumire tries calming Nue down. He manages to escape the facility, but leaves a trail of blood behind him. Konoha Police's Ota, soon found him and quickly recaptured Kawaki.
vs. Koji Kashin[]
Later, Koji and Delta arrived at the main gates of Konohagakure to retrieve Kawaki. While Delta stated that it would be difficult infiltrating, Koji told her to stay put before entering the village without setting anything off and began searching for Kawaki. Once inside, Koji summoned a small toad to find Kawaki, who he eventually found taking shelter in the Seventh Hokage's home. Deciding it was too dangerous to engage Naruto Uzumaki, Koji decided to continue observing for the time being. As Arikurin sensed the presence of Koji's toad, Koji dispelled it but the former had already located him. Arikurin held a kunai to his neck. Before he could gain any intel, he noticed Delta propelling herself through the village and to Kawaki. Koji was able to substitute himself away. Arikurin continued to search for Koji, who soon snuck into the village archive at night to steal data. The archive's digital files only went as far back to after the Fourth Shinobi World War. Older data remained only on physical scrolls in another site.
The archive's digital files only went as far back to after the Fourth Shinobi World War. Older data remained only on physical scrolls in another site, Arikurin made his way to the other site. He is correct and finds Koji's shadow clone again who creates a smokescreen. He forced Koji to retreat, deciding the scroll was not crucial to his plans. The village's Barrier Team detected no foreign chakra signatures, leading Arikurin to consider an inside job, similar to Yurito. After discussing the Delta's assault, Shikamaru voiced his concerns again about keeping the boy so close to the village. Despite his protests, he was outvoted on removing the boy. While accepting this vote, Shikamaru instead decided to put additional security on Kawaki, including having Arikurin regularly report to him in case of any new activity from Kawaki.
vs. Jigen[]
The following morning many sensor types are shaken by a sinister chakra. Kawaki's Kāma releases a mass of chakra, turning into a portal through which Jigen appears. Naruto attacks, but is kicked aside by Jigen, who manifests rods to pin him down. Konohomaru attempt to aid Naruto, despite his warnings to stand back. When Konohamaru is pinned down, Jigen threatens Kawaki, and attempts to convince him the hand they gave him is a monitoring device, in a sense no different from the Kāma. Kawaki continues to deny him, as he disparages Naruto and the village. His Kāma spreads further, manifesting a horn, much to Jigen's surprise. Arikurin arrives not long after and uses Sonic Dash Technique and his hearing to barely dodge Jigens Rods. Fearing for the Hokage's safety, with Jigen's power entirely above Delta's and capable of either killing or severely injuring Naruto, Kawaki stepped in and submitted, agreeing to back willingly with Jigen if he spared Naruto. While Jigen agreed to the terms, Naruto refused to comply. Jigen responded by teleporting themto another dimension with.
Jigen intends to leave them stranded in the other dimension, but Sasuke arrives. Together they deduced that Jigen's abilities allow him to shrink matter to microscopic levels and return it to its original size instantaneously. Recognizing their impressive analytical skills Jigen progressed his Kāma to the next stage, his appearance reminiscent of the newly discovered Ōtsutsuki-clan member. Faster than Arikurin could dodge. Jigen knocks him in the side of a cliff with a massive right kick and again pins him down with rods. He then restrained Sasuke and Naruto by impaling them with his black rods and decided to keep the Jinchūriki alive while killing Sasuke due to his Rinnegan's Space-Time Ninjutsu. But Jigen notices a crack on his body, noting it's too much power for this body to contain, stressing his need for Kawaki. Despite Sasuke's protests, Naruto convinced him to return to Konoha so that he can live to fight another. Jigen then flys away after he has Naruto is sealed into a Pot.
vs. Boro[]
Jigen is forced to leave the battle and Boro arrives, who was tasked with guarding a pot with Naruto sealed inside. Boro notes the place is only accessible through space–time ninjutsu and asks how Arikurin plans on escaping. Boro challenges Arikurin to come at him. Arikurin attacks him with a Thunderous Timpani. Boro responds by quickly regenerating. The 2 continue to exchange a few blows. Not long after, Arikurin falls to the ground, and suddenly struggles to move as well. Using his Sonic Dash Technique he places some distance between him and Boro but collapses not too far away. With his Byakugan he realized Boro was exposing him to some Dark Mist Cloud which sapped away their strength.
Arikurin takes an antidote previously given to him by his teammate, Aoi. He begins to recover from the Virus. Arikurin confirms Naruto's is still alive inside the container, sensing it with his Byakugan. Boro then attacks his Lava Release, and Arikurin counters with his Earth Release and keeps his distance to avoid the virus. Not soon after, using the portal, Kawaki and Team 7 enter the dimension. During their fight, Boro's core is destroyed by Sarada. This causes his scientific ninja tools go haywire, and swell up. As Boro can't fight anymore, they move to rescue Naruto. However, Boro composed himself enough to attack, striking down Mitsuki. As the others were quickly overwhelmed by Boro's massive form, Boruto's mark evolved further, manifesting Momoshiki's will and persona while exhibiting a massive boost in power to beat Boro about. Taking complete control of Boruto's body, Momoshiki obliterated Boro with a gigantic Rasengan.
With Kawaki's help, Boruto was able to use their Kāma to create a rift in the seal and free the unconscious Naruto. They're concerned by Naruto being unconscious, but Arikurin points out his prosthetic hand still works, so Naruto should be ok. As the Kāma deactivated, Momoshiki warned Boruto that it was not yet time for him to lose everything, leaving Boruto unconscious and falling from the sky. He was caught by Mitsuki and checked on, and upon awakening remembered nothing of Momoshiki's manifestation.
A few days later, Arikurin investigated Boro's cult in an attempt to learn Kara's Ten-Tails' new whereabouts. Sai and Konohamaru claimed to want to join the cult, the two learned that some cultists would sometimes disappear. Arikurin placed a Genjutsu on one of the cultists and had him lead Arikurin to a secret facility. There he uncovered evidence the missing cultists had died in Kara's Vessel experiments. Despite exposing Boro's role in the plagues that caused many of the cultists to join, and in the death of the missing cultists, many remained loyal to him. Delta arrived to destroy the facility, which shocked Arikurin, Sai, and Konohamaru, who knew she had been destroyed by Naruto. They reported back to him in Konoha and Arikurin reported back to Otogakure.
Ōtsutsuki Awakening[]
Amado was detained, where despite his claims of seeking asylum, was very bold while being interrogated. As Shikamaru made his anger for the man known, Amado began explaining all he knew. He revealed that how the Ōtsutsuki have since before recorded history been travelling from planet to planet, harvesting its chakra for the sake of evolving itself while destroying the planet in the process, using the Ten-Tails for the process. He also revealed that Jigen himself was turned into an Ōtsutsuki from being branded by his Kāma of Isshiki Ōtsutsuki. Amado also revealed to have sabotaged the blimp to free Kawaki and likewise ensure that Sasuke would get the intel of Isshiki. Amado's glasses then began beeping. His glasses were taken off, revealing a holographic projection of Jigen talking with Kashin. They learned that Kashin and Amado were working together and that Kashin intended to kill Jigen.
As they watched the fight, Amado continued divulging intel on the Ōtsutsuki, and Kāma. Sasuke noticed an inconsistency in Amado's explanation over the mechanics of Kāma, noting that Jigen still bore his marking despite having been taken over by Isshiki already. Acknowledging his point, Amado explained. Kawaki entered the interrogation room and attacked Amado, but was blocked by Sasuke's sword. When Jigen's death triggered Isshiki's resurrection in his body, Amado explained this also erased Kawaki's Kāma to avoid duplicates, leading Arikurin to realise that without any remaining Kāma, Isshiki was vulnerable to permanent death.
After Amado was officially made a citizen of Konohagakure, he explained that Isshiki's resurrection was unstable and would seek out Kawaki again to rebrand him. While reviewing the terms of Amado's asylum agreement, he also raised the likelihood of Isshiki coming to Konoha to apply a new Kāma to Kawaki, so Naruto ordered Sai to begin evacuation procedures for the civilians. Arikurin then led Naruto, Sai, and Shikamaru in taking Kawaki to an underground facility protected from Isshiki's Byakugan, ordering Amado to join them. Danzō had built as a precaution against a Hyūga coup. Upon arriving to Root facility, Arikurin unsealed the sound barrier. Ino then alerted everyone of Isshiki's arrival.
Above ground, Isshiki is unable to find Kawaki with his Byakugan, and considers killing people to force the information out of them. Shikari has returned to Konoha activated his Sage Mode and caused the temperature in the surroundings to drop and freeze. He then attacked with an Ice Dragon Bullet, but Isshiki shrunk it with his special ability. Isshikii attacked Shikari but he blocked them with Ice Release: Jagged Ice Wall
Arikurin soon arrives with Naruto. He is surprised to see his former teammate back in Konoha. Isshiki then turns his attention toward Arikurin unleashing Sukunahikona: Rain of Early Summer. In the air, he brings out a large bundle of rods, which he separates and showers down in the surrounding area. It rains down on the former root duo. Naruto enters Six Paths Sage Mode and begins fighting Isshiki. Sasuke arrives and tosses his katana at Isshiki who attempts to shrink it. However, it was actually Boruto in disguise who teleported Isshiki away to another dimension with Sasuke and Naruto following suit.
Chūnin Re-Examination Arc[]
Shortly after returning, Sasuke and Naruto were examined by Sakura and Katasuke, with the latter noting that Sasuke had lost a great amount of his power due to the loss of his Rinnegan. Sasuke assured Sakura that he was alright, accepting that the loss of his eye was a small sacrifice. Amado reveals that Boruto's Kāma transformation would be complete anywhere between 2 weeks to 6 months. Konoha decides to host another round of Chūnin Exams as the previous one had been disrupted by the invasion of Momoshiki, Kinshiki, and Urashiki. The day of the finals, a concerned Himawari witnessed the foreigners kidnapping Amado. Arikurin was notified and, with a tracker, was able to find Amado's location in a warehouse.
Land of Calm Seas Arc[]
Arikurin later receives intel of a discovery of another boy's corpse, killed with ninjutsu, that matches the other five known incidents near the border of the Land of Calm Seas. Unknown to Oto-ANBU, The final target was Mozuku, who hired Konoha-nin as bodyguards. Later Team 10 is attacked by Jujumaru and Kurobane near the border. They revealed his fellow students had already been killed, and stole Mozuku's package with the medicine after trapping them in his illusory mist. Kurobane left with the supplies while Jujumaru attacked them. Shikadai and Chōchō werent able to overpower his trap barrier, but she was injured protecting Mozuku.
Arikurin soon arrives defeating and restraining Jujumaru, Mozuku explained his true circumstances. As the Land of Calm Seas was ravaged by an epidemic. Aosa secretly developed a cheaper and more effective treatment for the population. When the daimyō found out, he sent elite assassins to eliminate him and his students. The students went into hiding to further research and develop their treatment. The greedy daimyō sent out people to destroy the treatment so he could continue using his slower method of treating people to make more money. One after another, they were able to track down the medical-nin's students, securing their medical samples and killing them.
Shikadai decided to return to Konoha with Chōchō, as Kawaki and Arikurin went ahead with Mozuku. Catching up with Kurobane, they were caught in his drying fog. Arikurin was able to see through his tactic with his Byakugan and landed his attack, clearing the fog. However, Kurobane was able to launch a sneak attack, which fatally injured Mozuku when he protected Kawaki.
Great Sea Battle of Kirigakure Arc[]
Otogakure R&D Team and Scientific Ninja Weapons Team created their own autonomous puppets after Deki had examined Kara's puppets, which were later sent to assist the miners on Dotō Island with Team 5 in order to supervise their progress. At the island, while setting up the puppets, the Funato Clan attacked the island, capturing all its inhabitants and Deki. Team 5 was forced to retreat and wait for an opportunity act. Deki, sent a signal back to Otogakure. Arikurin was going to attend the unveiling of new advanced power plants to covertly investigate rumours of a terrorist threat posed to the event. The Shinonome 1 power plant in the ocean, one of 8 facilities built over a decade which can harness sea power for power generation, which the added benefit of pacifying turbulent waters and currents. Among the foreign visitors is the Land of Lightning's daimyō. The first airship takes off with the wealthy industrialists, but it crashes and explodes.
When Arikurin received the message, he promptly steals a passing Funato ship in order to retrieve Deki and his assistants from Doto Island. Upon arriving, his subordinates have already been rescued by Konoha's Team 7 and Team 5. It is later reveleaed that the attack was a diversion for a prison breakout. They were able to free their leader, Araumi, who had spent five years in prison, far from the open sea and isolated from any source of water. Arikurin is forced to send Deki back to Otoagkure. Later, the Funato clan attacked the island with Black Fog. Arikurin was able to resist Funamushi's mind control leeches. He then helped repel the Funato Clan as they tried to destroy the shipping port, blocking their flaming arrows with earthen walls before fighting them. The next day they discovered a coded message explaining the sea battle is a distraction, while an elite Funato force makes a sneak attack on Kirigakure, even making their way there by land instead of sea to avoid drawing attention.
A few days later, all over the Land of Water, everyone watches Araumi swear they won't back down to honour the many Funato they have lost. Upon learning that the Funato intended to attack the Shinonome 1 power station, and were taking the shortest, but dangerous Sea of Death route to get to it, Chojuro ordered that all ships that could intercept them set sail. Arikurin gained the location and snuck aboard the Funato's mobile fortress as it approached the Shinonome 1 as their first target for the final battle with Kirigakure. He arrived at the Chakra Cannon control room in time to stop Araumi from shooting just after Ikada declared the war over. Araumi was determined to keep fighting, so Arikurin struck him down, choosing to spare his life at the request of the Mizukage. In the end, the development of the Shinonome project was suspended, so they could get support from the entire country.
Kawaki & Himawari Academy Arc[]
A group of new students enrols in the Academy; among them are Himawari, Kawaki. Unbeknown to everyone else, Kawaki is actually not in the academy to become a ninja. Instead he was assigned the mission to supervise Kae Yukiwari, the heir to the crown of the Land of Bamboo. Kae also has not come to the academy to become a ninja, but has been sent to Konoha to be safe from a power struggle. She however has not been told the truth about this. Hana is a new teacher at the school. She is actually a sleeper agent who came to the village a decade prior, who has received orders to kill Kae. She tries to kill Kae while undercover as a teacher. First Hana tries to kill Kae undercover. She finds out Kawaki guards Kae. She tries to get him expelled but when that doesn't wor,k she tries to kill Kae who's in the infirmary when Kawaki is not present, but he gets there in time. In her third attempt she plants paper bombs on the school to distract everyone
After the explosion occurred at the festival at the academy, Arikurin and Ota investigated the incident and interviewed Kawaki, Himawari, and Eiki. As Kawaki was removed from his mission, Kōtarō didn't share any information with him. Later, after Kae Yukiwari was attacked by the assassin who committed suicide while fighting Kawaki, Arikurin inspected the body and informed Kawaki that he would report his presence to the Hokage, as he has been suspended from his mission to protect Kae.
Code's Assault Arc[]
Following Isshiki's defeat, Otogakure learned ofthe last Kara Inner left, Code. Arikurin also reported that several Outers were captured. However, their interrogations revealed nothing useful in finding Code. Some time after, Arikurin and his subordinates found Code's Claw Marks near Konoha's outer walls. He sends word to Sai and Shikamaru, who have Kawaki confirm to them that the marks they found are Code's Claw Marks. Arikurin, Sai and Shikamaru notify Naruto of the Claw Marks, comparing them to the Flying Thunder God Technique. They've assigned teams to monitor the four marks they found, but consider the possibility those are meant as decoys to decrease their forces inside the village. Shikamaru confirms that Sasuke has made no contact, and Naruto tells him to inform Sasuke about the Claw Marks. Sai is certain Code is hunting those involved in Isshiki's death. Shikamaru informs Amado he'll have increased security, as he's the only one who can rescind Code's limiters. Amado thinks it's just another person to spy on him, but the increased protection is appreciated.
Later, Arikurin is contacted by Naruto, who informed him of Kawaki's evasion of surveillance and ability to conceal his chakra signature. Suddenly, K.O.E detects Boruto's chakra signature. When Arikurin arrived, he was surprised to see Kawaki absorbing Momoshiki's attack with a new Kāma. Using Isshiki's jutsu, Kawaki fought Momoshiki with the intent to kill him, even if it also killed Boruto. During the fight Code kept muttering to himself, Arikurin realised he was in contact with an ally. Shikamaru remained a hostage as Kawaki and Momoshiki fought. When Naruto moved to save Boruto from Kawaki's attack, Code saw no point in killing Shikamaru, but kept holding him. He was shocked as Boruto emerged and allowed Kawaki to strike him down. Code opted to leave and released Shikamaru. While Kawaki was overwhelming Code, he pulled Daemon through the Claw Mark of his face, reflecting Kawaki's attack and knocking him out before leaving.
Arikurin later meets with Amado as their recent attempts to reach Kara's base through the Space-Time Gates Amado informed them about. Arikurin explains they've discovered destroyed Space-Time Gates in several locations, which they believe would be access points to Kara's headquarters in another dimension. Arikurin believes, Code disabled or damaged all working gates to prevent anyone from using them to access the organisation's dimension. However, according to Amado, one early prototype still exists. Delta is also reprogrammed as Epsilon 1.0 and a solider for Otogakure.
Space-Time Gate Arc[]
After reprogramming Delta as Epsilon, she faced Arikurin. When the match began, Epsilon quickly absorbed his attacks and began to reenergise herself. Using her cybernetic eye implants, she shoots destruction beams of chakra. The beams even damaged the space gate prototype. The beams were consuming such a large amount of chakra that Epsilon 1.0 began to overheat. Epsilon first mission was to protect Deki until the location of the prototype and relay the coordinate back to Otogakure. After locating the gate, Epsilon contacted the nearest base. Deki later completes the programming of Otogakure's first Space-Time Gate.
Omnipotence Arc[]
Arikurin, and Sasuke returned from a joint mission, having discovered another Ōtsutsuki Cult hideout in the Land of Snow that housed all kinds of inhuman experiments and powerful cyborgs. Evidence strongly suggested that was where Code was. Arikurin was later part of the group greeting Amado, Ada , and Daemon when they arrived by train. Arikurin seemed unaffected by Ada's entrancing abilities, surprising Shikamaru. The next day, Shikamaru was contacted by mind link and informed that Sumire and Sarada were unaffected by Ada's entrancing. He instructed Sumire not to inform anyone else, as to avoid potential leaks, as this made the three of them capable of killing Ada if she was ever deemed a danger to the village.
When Kawaki began a commotion over feeling that Momoshiki was planning something, Shikamaru ordered the sensors to keep track of him, but Kawaki erased his chakra. He asked Arikurin to pinpoint his exact location. He later found them just as Boruto got his right eye slashed protecting Sarada from Kawaki, and pinned him with his shadow, which also prevented Kawaki from shrinking away. Momoshiki suddenly manifested through Boruto and absorbed Shikamaru's jutsu, allowing Kawaki to escape. Arikurin later learned that Kawaki sealed away Naruto and Hinata to prevent them from interfering before attacking Boruto. Arikurin leads the hunt for Kawaki, instructing the sensors to stay sharp for the moment Kawaki exhausts himself and his chakra signature return.
As the search for Kawaki continued, Amado contacted Shikamaru, revealing he implanted a shutdown command on Kawaki. Arikurin was not surprised at Amado's continued hiding of information. But as they continued to search, Arikurin soon noticed a flash in the sky. After it disappeared, Arikurin was shocked to hear that all surrounding communication was suddenly searching for Boruto, blaming him for Naruto's disappearance. Arikurin soon met up with Sarada and Sasuke they explained Ada somehow changed everyone's perception of Boruto and Kawaki. Arikurin deduced his immunity to her powers stemmed from his bloodline connection to Shiinshiki Ōtsutsuki.
