Academy Arc[]

At the Academy, Arikurin takes Taijutsu classes with Hiruzen
When Arikurin entered the Academy, his natural talent was undeniable. He consistently scored top grades, particularly excelling in chakra control. Through relentless practice, he refined this skill to extraordinary levels, using it to amplify his senses—most notably his hearing. Training under his teachers refined his already impressive chakra control. By channeling chakra to enhance his auditory perception, he could detect faint sounds from astonishing distances, giving him an edge in both combat and strategy.

Arikurin wins a sparring match
Under the guidance of his teachers, Arikurin pushed the boundaries of his abilities. He regularly won sparring matches with his classmates. At just six years old, Arikurin astonished his instructors by summoning shadow clones with ease. What made his technique unique was his method: instead of forming traditional hand seals, he whistled specific tones corresponding to the seals required. This groundbreaking approach hinted at the budding genius within him.

Arikurin training
He learned to rapidly build up chakra and focus it into specific parts of his body, such as his fists. Each night, Arikurin would slip away from the orphanage, retreating to the secluded woods for rigorous training sessions. He practiced rapidly building and releasing chakra into his strikes, causing shockwaves that split tree trunks and sent debris flying. With greater input, the destructive potential grew exponentially. The forest bore scars of his relentless training—craters in the ground and splintered trees served as silent witnesses to his growing power. His control over chakra grew sharper with every session. In those quiet hours, surrounded by the rustle of leaves and the hum of the night, Arikurin honed his skill

Arikurin continues to train
When it came time to study weapons at the Academy, Arikurin's potential shone once again. He took a particular interest in the Flying Swallow technique, which involved augmenting the cutting power of a blade by infusing it with chakra. Through practice, he mastered the art of creating a dense blade of chakra that extended the reach of his weapon. What made the technique especially formidable was the variability it allowed. Arikurin could adjust the length and intensity of the chakra blade at will, keeping his opponents guessing. Every swing of his weapon became unpredictable, forcing even experienced sparring partners onto the defensive.

Danzo recruits a young Arikurin to Root
Toward the end of his time at the Academy, Arikurin’s abilities reached new heights. His mastery over sound-based techniques became legendary. By whistling specific tones, he could cast Genjutsu and Ninjutsu with unparalleled speed and precision. His unique approach eliminated the need for traditional hand seals, giving him an edge in combat where split-second decisions could mean life or death. One early morning, while Arikurin was training alone in the woods, Danzo Shimura approached him.

Arikurin receives his uniform
Danzo said he had observed him from the shadows for quite some time. The boy’s skill and innovation had not gone unnoticed. Danzō, ever the opportunist, saw immense potential in Arikurin’s abilities. Not long after, Arikurin was recruited into Konoha's ANBU Root division. The transition was seamless. As a graduate of the Academy and a prodigy in his own right, he was perfectly suited for the shadowy world of Root—a world where talent like his was honed into a deadly instrument.
Root Training Arc[]

Early days of Root
With no close family to call his own, Arikurin found solace only in the shadows. The day he joined Root, he was given a new identity: Nohkan, a silent player in a deadly symphony. Danzō, sensing raw potential in the boy, decided to personally oversee his training—a rare honor, but one that came with immense pressure. Root's methods were as unforgiving as its leaders. Day after day, Nohkan endured grueling sessions in the art of kenjutsu.

Arikurin and Kaede
Within months, he grew into a formidable warrior. Sparring matches became spectacles; even the senior operatives, with their years of experience, found themselves disarmed and at his mercy. When the time came, Danzō paired him with with Kaede Murasaki. She was older, more experienced, and together, they formed the core of the 1st iteration of Team Fue.
Nohkan Gaiden: Echoes from the Future[]
The air split with a violent crackle, a rift in time tearing the sky apart on the outskirts of Konoha. Arikurin Shiin stepped through, his spectral-colored chakra waves rippling like a living rainbow around him. His jaw tightened as he took in the familiar silhouette of the village, the sight a bittersweet echo of his childhood. Somewhere in this timeline, his younger self was alive and unscarred by the burdens that lay ahead. And somewhere, Epsilon—the assassin sent to destroy everything—was already hunting. At the village's training grounds, Arikurin’s younger self, was oblivious to the looming danger. Trees in the distance splintered as Epsilon burst through the forest with mechanical precision. Its glowing red eyes locked onto the boy as its metallic voice echoed coldly, “Target acquired.”

Prologue Arikurin and New Era Arikurin
Before Epsilon could take another step, the elder Arikurin landed between them in a blur of rainbow light, his sword humming with sound-infused chakra. With a single sharp whistle, a dome of shimmering energy expanded outward, shielding the young boy. the elder Arikurin grabbed his younger self and dashed away toward Konoha. When he was safe, the elder simply looked at the younger vision of himself. Without saying a word, the elder whistled a tone that knocked out the young genin and erasing any memory of their encounter.
The Lost Tower Arc[]
Arikurin and Kaede are sent to Rōran to stop Mukade, a missing-nin from the future, who plans to use the Source of the Ryūmyaku to create a Puppet Army to conquer the Five Great Shinobi Countries. Upon infiltrating the city, they learn that citizens are being abducted and forced into slave labor. They also encounter an ANBU team led by Minato Namikaze.

Arikurin, Minato, Naruto, Shibi, and Chōza
Later, they face Anrokuzan, who, due to the Ryūmyaku chakra, has unlimited stamina and energy. With a constant supply of chakra from a tower in Rōran, Anrokuzan fuses his puppets with his Spider form, becoming an unstoppable killing machine. Despite multiple failed attempts by Naruto to stop him, Sāra manages to seal the Ryūmyaku, halting Anrokuzan's regeneration. He is then killed by Naruto's Supreme Ultimate Rasengan. Before dying, Anrokuzan triggers a self-destruct by purging himself into the Ryūmyaku pool, hoping to take everyone down with him.
Chunin Exam Arc[]

Orochimaru selects Arikurin
Konohagakure hosted one of its own Chūnin Exams, a rigorous event designed to test the strength, intelligence, and teamwork of its genin. Participation required entry as part of a three-man team, a tradition rooted in the belief that collaboration was as vital as individual prowess. Unlike other villages' exams, the stages in this event were spaced out, allowing participants to rest and recover between trials. For Arikurin, the exams were more than a test—they marked a pivotal point in his journey as a shinobi. His assignment to a team was orchestrated not by chance but by politics and hidden agendas. Arikurin soon found himself placed on a team led by one of the Sannin, the enigmatic and ambitious Orochimaru.

Team Orochimaru
This arrangement was no ordinary decision; it was part of a calculated move to strengthen the alliance between Orochimaru and Danzō Shimura, two figures known for their complex and often clandestine dealings within the Hidden Leaf. Its other members included Anko Mitarashi. The first round of the Chūnin Exams was a written test, but it wasn’t about knowledge—it was a trial of resourcefulness, strategy, and willpower. For the genin, the challenge wasn’t just to answer the questions but to obtain the answers through stealth and cunning without being caught by the proctors. Failure meant disqualification.

Arikurin uses his hearing to pass the written exam
As the test began, Arikurin closed his eyes, letting his enhanced hearing take over. The scratching of pencils on paper filled the air, each stroke painting a faint sound map in his mind. With practiced precision, he focused on the strongest and most consistent rhythms—the telltale signs of confident test-takers. Slowly, a smirk crept onto his face. He began decoding the faint scratches, matching the strokes to letters and numbers. Piece by piece, he reconstructed answers from the patterns of movement and the rhythm of the pencils.
Almost immediately a small and nimble serpent trained for stealth appeared by Arikurin's side. With a faint whistle—a tone too subtle for most to notice—Arikurin communicated with the snake, passing along the answers. The snake slithered silently under the desks, delivering the information to Anko on the other side of the room. With all of his teammates passing, Team Orochimaru moved on to the Second Round.

Anko and Arikurin in the Forest of Death
The second portion of the Chūnin Exams was designed to whittle down the competition, ensuring only the strongest and most resourceful teams advanced. Known as the Forest of Death, the challenge was as much about survival as it was strategy. Before entering, each team was given one of two scrolls: Heaven or Earth. The task was simple in theory but brutal in execution—secure the opposite scroll by any means necessary and make it to the tower in the center of the forest. Only teams with both scrolls would advance. The forest itself was a menacing labyrinth of towering trees, concealed predators, and the constant threat of ambush. Deep within the forest, Team Orochimaru, infamous for their cunning and ruthlessness, had already secured their second scroll.

Arikurin's opponent is decided
The final round of the Chūnin Exams was a one-on-one tournament, the ultimate test of strength, strategy, and adaptability. Victory in a match wasn’t the only path to promotion—each genin’s performance and potential were evaluated by the watching proctors. In his first match, Arikurin was pitted against Asuma Sarutobi. At the start of the match. Asuma wasted no time, and unleashed the Fire Release: Fire Dragon Bullet technique. A stream of searing flames roared through the arena toward the young genin. But Arikurin remained calm. He slammed his hands to the ground and summoned a towering Mud Wall. The flames crashed against it, dissipating in a burst of steam and embers.

Arikurin summons Clones
Arikurin and 2 Swiftlet Clones soon appeared from behind the earth wall. They closed in on Asuma, weaving around his defenses. Reacting quickly, Asuma struck them down one by one with sharp precision, using his trench knife. But something was off. Asuma froze mid-motion, his eyes wide with shock as the sound enveloped him. The crowd fell silent, realizing he had been caught in a Genjutsu. The real Arikurin emerged from beneath the ground, his stealthy approach unnoticed in the chaos. In a flash, he struck Asuma multiple times in the chest. The impact sent the young genin stumbling backward before collapsing to the ground, unconscious. The proctor stepped forward, raising his hand to signal the end of the match.

Might Guy and Arikurin exchange blows
Following his victory over Asuma, Arikurin faced his next challenge in the Chūnin Exams: a match against Might Guy, a rising star renowned for his unrelenting taijutsu and overwhelming physical prowess. The proctor signaled the start, and the battle began with a burst of energy. Arikurin and Guy charged at each other, their fists colliding in a flurry of strikes and counter-strikes. The sheer intensity of their movements left the audience on edge, their eyes darting to keep up. Both fighters displayed incredible skill—Arikurin with his precise chakra control and calculated strikes, and Guy with his unyielding determination and speed.

Arikurin lands a direct blow
For a moment, they seemed evenly matched, their movements a blur of kicks and punches that neither could land decisively. However, Arikurin wasn’t satisfied with a mere stalemate. Arikurin tapped into his keen hearing to anticipate Might Guy’s next move. By listening closely to the subtle shifts in Guy’s movements, Arikurin timed his strike perfectly, landing a direct hit on the right side of Guy's. The force of the blow sent Guy skidding across the arena and a stunned silence from the crowd. Slowly, Guy pushed himself up, wiping a thin trail of blood from the corner of his mouth.

Might Guy opens The Gate of Life and
Guy's skin turned red, his pupil disappeared, his hair stood on end, and veins began bulging all over their body. In an instant, Guy's speed and strength amplified to inhuman levels. Arikurin barely had time to react as Guy’s boosted assault began. Even blocking the attacks came at a cost—Arikurin felt his ribs creak under the force, his lungs aching from internal injuries. His breath came in shallow gasps, and the pain in his chest made it impossible to whistle the tones needed for his ninjutsu. Each strike from Guy pushed him closer and closer to his limits. After getting knocked down, Arikurin quickly realized he could no longer continue and concedes the match.
Third Shinobi World War[]
Tsuchigumo Treaty Arc[]

Team Fue's sets on an A-Ranked Mission
Arikurin’s first A-Ranked mission came during the Third Shinobi World War, a period marked by chaos and shifting allegiances. The mission involved the Tsuchigumo clan, a reclusive and powerful group known for their devastating kinjutsu. At the heart of the conflict was the clan’s leader, En no Gyōja, who had created a technique capable of obliterating an entire village. En no Gyōja brokered a pact with the Third Hokage, declaring the technique forbidden in exchange for Konoha’s protection. While this agreement ensured the clan’s safety, it also sparked division within the clan. The mission was simple-escort En no Gyōja to Mount Katsuragi, where the technique’s scroll was to safeguarded. Unknown to En no Gyōja, Arikurin operated under orders from Danzō Shimura, who sought the kinjutsu as a weapon for Konoha’s Root division.

Arikurin retrieves the scroll
When they finally reached the scroll’s chamber, En no Gyōja performed a ritual to ensure the technique’s continued protection. As the barrier temporarily lowered, Kaede made her move to placing En no Gyōja under a Genjutsu while Arikurin stealthily copied their scroll. Arikurin delivered the copy to Danzō, ensuring the technique would be preserved for Root’s purposes. Upon his return to Konoha, Arikurin’s success was met with recognition. The mission not only secured Konoha’s alliance with the Tsuchigumo Clan but also elevated Arikurin’s standing among his peers.
War Efforts Arc[]

Arikurin, Danzo, and Kaede meet with Hanzo
A little while later, the rain fell relentlessly over Amegakure, the sound echoing through its steel structures like a mournful symphony. In the shadows, Danzō Shimura watched with quiet satisfaction as his plan unfolded. Hidden beneath hoods and masks, his Root ANBU moved swiftly, disguised as shinobi of Iwagakure. Their mission: to sow chaos and distrust by ambushing the founding members of the Akatsuki by framing the Hidden Stone.

Team Fue captures Konan and delivers her to Hanzo
The seeds of war were planted. Hanzō, once hailed as the leader who had held his village together, found himself gripped by paranoia. Hanzō had been skeptical, but Danzō’s offer was enticing. Root ANBU would assist in crushing the Akatsuki, and in return, Hanzō would help Danzō claim the title of Hokage when the war was over. It was a mutually beneficial arrangement—on paper. Yet, Danzō’s true motives remained shrouded, his plans layered with deception. They soon devised a plan to capture Konan and lure out the remaining Akatsuki.
That night at the exchange, pinned down and surrounded, the Rinnegan in his eyes glowed with an unearthly light as the rain intensified. The ground trembled violently as Nagato raised his hands to the sky. In an instant, the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path erupted from the earth, its monstrous form dwarfing everything around it. The battlefield descended into chaos. The statue’s massive arms swung with destructive force, obliterating Hanzō’s forces and Danzō’s Root ANBU alike-including Kaede was killed in the fight, Hanzō barely escaped with his life, retreating to Amegakure as the Demonic Statue wreaked havoc on his remaining forces. Danzō, safe in the shadows, received the report of the ambush’s catastrophic failure with grim silence.

Arikurin heads to the Land of Lightning
The Third Shinobi World War had reached its peak, the world in chaos as alliances fractured and new conflicts ignited with every passing day. Amid the turmoil, the Hyūga Clan of Konoha faced a deeply personal crisis. Hidden within the borders of Kumogakure, a secret came to light—an heir to the Hyūga Clan’s Main House, a girl named Honami, had been discovered. The child, born of a forbidden affair between a Hyūga clansman and a kunoichi from Kumo, represented not only a political disaster but also a potential threat to the Hyūga’s greatest treasure: the Byakugan. The Root ANBU, moved swiftly under the cover of darkness, slipping past Kumogakure’s defenses with practiced efficiency.

A pair of Kumo-nin defeat a Swiftlet Clone
Arikurin and his team infiltrated the outskirts of Kumogakure, tracking Honami to a secluded hideout guarded by Kumo-nin. As the team launched their ambush, chaos erupted. Shikari led the charge, freezing the ground beneath the Kumo-nin’s feet with his Ice Release, locking several enemies in place as Shimora fired poisoned senbon from the shadows. Arikurin darted into the fray with a flash of steel, his blade cutting through the first wave of defenders. But the battalion’s numbers were overwhelming. A bolt struck Shimora’s shoulder, sending her crashing to the ground. Mid fight Arikurin spotted Honami, a frightened girl no older than six, hiding behind a cluster of rocks.

Arikurin rescues Honami
When Arikurin grabbed her, he told his team to retreat. Honami was brought to Konoha, her pale eyes wide with fear as she was taken to the Hyūga compound. Hiashi greeted her with cold detachment, and without hesitation, the customary cursed seal of the Hyūga Clan was branded onto her forehead. It was a cruel reminder of her new place within the Main House’s hierarchy—and the measures taken to protect the Byakugan at all costs.

Arikurin accompanied Danzō to a meeting with Orochimaru after the latter had been passed over for Hokage
The Third Shinobi World War had ended, but the scars it left on Konoha ran deep. In the Land of Fire Council chambers, the debate ended with Hiruzen stepping down as Hokage, a decision Danzō saw as weak. In the discussions for the Fourth Hokage, Danzō pushed for Orochimaru, but Hiruzen voiced his concerns. He believes Orochimaru has grown too ambitious. His desires are dangerous. Despite Danzō’s protest, Minato Namikaze was chosen unanimously—except by Danzō.
Protect Kazahana Castle Arc[]

Arikurin in the Land of Snow
The Land of Snow was a frigid, unforgiving place, its perpetual blizzards masking treachery and bloodshed beneath blankets of white. Arikurin Shiin, Kakashi Hatake, and Shikari moved with practiced precision through the icy wilderness, their breaths misting in the cold air. Their mission: protect Koyuki Kazahana, the rightful daimyō, from his treacherous brother, Dotō Kazahana, who had launched a coup to seize power. But their task had quickly spiraled into chaos. Sōsetsu’s once-grand palace now lay in ruins, flames licking at the snowy ground as Dotō’s forces stormed the stronghold. His brother, Dotō Kazahana staged a coup d'état and killed him in search of a key. Kakashi took point, Koyuki clinging to his back as he leapt across icy cliffs and through frozen valleys. Arikurin and Shikari trailed behind, laying traps and ice barriers to slow their pursuers.
Kushina's Pregnancy Arc[]

Aoi and Arikurin guard Kushina
The village of Konoha lay quiet under the cover of night, its streets bathed in moonlight. But within its shadows, a quiet storm brewed. Kushina Uzumaki, the village’s jinchūriki, was nearing the end of her pregnancy, and with it came a threat that loomed over the entire village. The seal that held the Nine-Tails within her would weaken during childbirth, creating a perilous moment when the beast could break free. To protect Kushina and the village, a web of secrecy and security was spun tighter than ever before. Arikurin and Aoi monitored Kushina with equal vigilance. Though the two shinobi worked for different masters, their shared focus on protecting Kushina bound them to the same purpose.
Arikurin's orders were clear: protect her at all costs, but report her every move back to Danzō. As the pregnancy progressed, the need for precautions grew. The site was chosen carefully—a remote cave far from the village, shielded by a powerful barrier and guarded by several ANBU. Hiruzen’s wife, Biwako Sarutobi, and Taji, an experienced kunoichi, would act as midwives. Minato himself would oversee the seal, keeping it stable during the delivery and restoring it as soon as the child was born. Arikurin observed from the shadows outside the barrier and silently scanned the perimeter for threats.

Arikurin rushes toward Konoha
Inside the cave, the first cries of the newborn pierced Arikurin's ears. Only moments after the birth Minato began making preparations to restore the Nine-Tails' weakened seal, but he was interrupted by the arrival of an unknown man. The masked man killed all of the Anbu, Biwako, and Taji, then took the newborn Naruto hostage. The man moved Kushina to a new location and placed her under restraint while he took steps to further weaken the seal. As the seal was about to break, he used his Sharingan to enter Kushina's subconscious and place the Nine-Tails under his control.
Nine-Tailed Demon Fox's Attack[]
Minato returned to the village in the early stages of the Nine-Tails' attack on Konoha, arriving in time to teleport away a Tailed Beast Ball before it destroyed the Hokage Rock. Many of the village's children had been taken away from the village and confined behind a barrier so that they would not be killed trying to protect the village. The Nine-Tails' attack also destroyed the Academy, amongst other buildings. Minato eventually saved the village from the Nine-Tails, but at the cost of his and Kushina's lives. Because he was never able to explain what had happened after the attack, Konoha's villagers were left to come up with their own explanations.
Hiruzen Assassination Arc[]

Danzo plotting to take over
The aftermath of the Nine-Tails’ attack left Konoha scarred, both physically and politically. The village’s leadership was shaken, whispers of blame and suspicion circling like vultures. At the heart of the storm was Danzō Shimura, whose distrust of the Uchiha Clan burned brighter than ever. To him, there was no question who was responsible for the tragedy—only the Sharingan could control the Nine-Tails, and Danzō believed it was an Uchiha who unleashed the beast on Konoha.

Arikurin and Kakashi meet with Danzo
Amid this political maneuvering, Danzō turned his sights on Kakashi Hatake. The young shinobi, burdened with guilt and grief after the loss of his comrades, was emotionally vulnerable. Danzō saw an opportunity. At the same time, Danzō schemed to remove Hiruzen from power entirely. Unwilling to wait for Hiruzen’s leadership to fail on its own, Danzō plotted his assassination, viewing it as the only way to save Konoha from what he saw as the Third’s overly-passive methods.

Root attempts to assassinate the Third Hokage
The night before the planned assassination, Danzō Shimura sat alone in a dimly lit chamber deep within Root’s underground base. Before him was a detailed map of Konoha, marked with key locations on the Third's route the following morning to the Fire Daimyō. As the morning rolled in, several masked Root operatives stood at attention, awaiting their. However, the plans are foiled when Kakashi warns the Hokage of the plan.
Sunagakure Library Arc[]
The Hidden Leaf’s ambition stretched far beyond its borders, fueled by Danzō Shimura’s relentless pursuit of power. The attack on Konoha by the Nine-Tails had only heightened Danzō’s obsession with creating a jinchūriki under his control, one that would ensure the dominance of Konoha in the shinobi world. To do so, he needed powerful fūinjutsu—techniques that could bind even the strongest of tailed beasts. The answer lay in the ruins of Uzushiogakure, a once-prosperous village destroyed for its unparalleled mastery of sealing techniques. Arikurin and Sekkei, was dispatched to explore the ruins. Weeks were spent navigating collapsed buildings and hidden chambers, piecing together fragments of knowledge left behind by the Uzumaki Clan.

Arikurin infiltrates Sunagakure
Danzō’s ambitions didn’t stop there—intel pointed to Sunagakure’s underground library, home to forbidden scrolls rivaling those of Uzushiogakure. Under the cover of night, Arikurin infiltrated the village, disguised as a Suna chūnin. He studied patrol routes, then struck, trapping two ANBU guards in a genjutsu before swiftly incapacitating them. Stealing their keys, he slipped inside. Dim torchlight flickered over countless scrolls as he searched. His pulse quickened as he found what he needed—Suna’s most dangerous forbidden techniques, including experimental seals tied to Bunpuku, the former One-Tail jinchūriki.

Arikurin defeats Suna ANBU
Arikurin turned to leave, but the alarm had already sounded. Dozens of Suna-ANBU closed in, their footsteps echoing through the night chasing Arikurin as he fled toward Konoha. He fought with precision, dodging a sword strike before driving his elbow into an attacker’s ribs. Spinning, he flipped another to the ground, then shattered a mask with a crushing jab. Despite his skill, the relentless onslaught began to take its toll.
Uchiha Compound Bombing Arc[]

Raido's eye is targeted by Root
A series of bombings rocked the Uchiha Compound, sowing fear and unrest within the clan. To prevent further escalation, Danzō assigned Root to investigate, framing it as a goodwill gesture to the Uchiha while masking his true intentions. It wasn’t long before Root operatives identified the culprit: Raido, a rogue member of the Chinoike Clan, wielding the deadly Ketsuryūgan—a Kekkei Genkai that manipulates blood and casts powerful genjutsu. Seizing the opportunity, Danzō tasked Arikurin Shiin with retrieving Raido's Ketsuryūgan. Arikurin tracked Raido to the outskirts of Konoha and ambushed him in a brutal confrontation. After losing an eye, Raido used his blood to create an explosion as a diversion, leaving Arikurin with nothing but failure to report
Infiltrate Amegakure Arc[]

Arikurin sends Swiftlets throughout Amegakure
The rain never stopped in Amegakure, but this time it wasn’t natural—it was Pain’s Chakra Detection Rain, alerting him to any intruders. Arikurin, sent by Danzō to confirm the whereabouts of Hanzō, entered the village under the cover of night. Unknown to him at the time, a civil war broke out in the village to remove Hanzō from power. Led by an individual known only as "Pain".

Arikurin defeats multiple Paper Clones
Unbeknownst to Arikurin, the rain itself was a jutsu. Pain’s Chakra Detection Rain monitored the entire village, sensing the presence of any intruders. The moment Arikurin entered Amegakure, Pain knew. It was long before, Konan surrounded Arikurin with paper clones. She attacked with dozens of clones, but Arikurin swiftly unsheathed his blade, cutting through them with chakra-enhanced strikes. Suddenly, a deafening roar shook the village as Pain’s Giant Ox charged toward him. Arikurin leaped to a rooftop to evade the beast, but it relentlessly pursued, smashing through buildings. He sprinted across rooftops, using explosive tags to slow it down, and made a final leap, disappearing into the stormy horizon and vanishing into the Land of Rain’s rugged terrain.
Danzo's Surgery Arc[]

Danzo recovers from surgery
Deep in a hidden laboratory far from Konoha’s watchful eyes, Danzō Shimura met with Orochimaru, telling him about the recent events and insisted they not meet for a while in fear Hiruzen might realise that Danzō and Orochimaru were behind the abduction of several Konoha citizens, to which the Sannin voiced that Hiruzen probably already has his suspicions. The surgery was grueling. Orochimaru infused Danzō’s right arm with the DNA of Hashirama Senju, bolstering his physical energy, while embedding multiple Sharingan eyes harvested from Shin Uchiha. The procedure took hours, and by the time Orochimaru stepped back to admire his work, Danzō was pale and drenched in sweat, though his steely composure never faltered.
The Sound of FireWorks[]

Hanabi Hotaru injures Arikurin
The mission to gather intel on the Explosion Corps had been a success, but returning to Konoha was proving to be far more difficult. Pursuers were closing in. Among them was Hanabi Hotaru, a skilled kunoichi with a deadly mastery of Explosive Firework Style. A blinding flare lit the sky as Hanabi launched a crackling firework technique, the blast severing Sekkei’s arm in an instant. He collapsed to the ground, his scream of pain swallowed by another explosion. Hanabi smirked, lighting another explosive kunai with a spark of chakra. She flung the kunai, which exploded mid-air, forcing Arikurin to leap to safety. The explosions were relentless, the fireworks bursting in unpredictable patterns and raining destruction across the battlefield.

Arikurin defeats Hanabi
Hanabi barely had time to react as Arikurin closed the distance under the cover of the explosions, appearing in front of her in a blur of speed. His two fingers struck her left leg three times, precisely targeting her chakra points. Pain shot through her body as her mobility faltered and she began stumbling backward. Arikurin didn’t stop, finishing with a Thunderous Timpani, sending her tumbling across the rocky ground. Hanabi coughed weakly as her chakra network was completely disrupted, her body refusing to move. Moments later, she lost consciousness. His mission was nearly complete—the scroll containing intel on the Explosion Corps was still safe in his possession.
Capture Orochimaru Arc[]

Arikurin and Kinoe
Hiruzen declares Orochimaru's capture the highest priority for the safety of Konoha. As the meeting concludes, Danzō secretly summons two of his Root operatives. Danzō tasks Arikurin and Kinoe with infiltrating one of Orochimaru's rumored rendezvous points, deep in an uncharted forest. Their mission: eliminate Orochimaru or bring back information vital to his capture. However, Danzō harbors a darker intention—he sees this mission as an opportunity to sever ties with Orochimaru, who once provided him with forbidden research.

Arikurin and Gotta clash
Arikurin and Kinoe wait for Orochimaru at the rendezvous point, but Gotta overhears their plans and appears. Modified by Orochimaru’s experiments, Gotta uses his unstable smoke ability to enter Kinoe’s body, attempting to kill him from within. Kinoe struggles against Gotta’s suffocating chakra until Arikurin intervenes, forcing Gotta to abandon the attack. The confrontation escalates as Gotta manifests his full smoke form. Arikurin quickly engages in a brutal battle, but an updraft tears apart Gotta’s unstable form, causing him to disintegrate. In his final moments, Gotta reveals shocking details about Kinoe’s past and Orochimaru’s involvement in his disappearance, shaking Kinoe. He decides to flee with Yukimi, while the injured Orochimaru arrives at the Iburi hideout.

Sekkei and Arikurin clash
However, when Arikurin attempted to subdue Orochimaru he is stalled by Sekkei. In the heat of the fight, Arikurin lands a decisive blow, severing Sekkei’s hand. The injury sends a wave of pain through Sekkei, but instead of faltering, he snarls in defiance. Orochimaru, now leaning against a wall for support, smirks faintly and urges Sekkei to "show him the gift I gave you. Sekkei activates his curse mark. It spread across his entire body in twisted, entwining lines. His skin became dark red, he gained yellow irides with dark black sclerae, elongated canine teeth and fingernails. To Arikurin’s shock, the curse mark restores Sekkei's severed hand as if it had never been lost.

Sekkei unleashes a powerful attack
He unleashes a massive surge of chakra, forming a large, glowing claw of energy. With a single swipe, he sends Arikurin flying, crashing through the walls of the cave and leaving him momentarily incapacitated. Sekkei moves in to finish the fight, but just as his monstrous claw nears Arikurin, the curse mark begins to recede. Sekkei's body trembles as the transformation wanes, leaving him gasping for air. After regaining his strength, Arikurin returns to the depths of the Iburi hideout, only to discover a horrifying scene. Orochimaru, unwilling to leave behind any loose ends, has slaughtered the remaining members of the Iburi Clan. Their bodies lie motionless, the hideout filled with an eerie silence.

Arikurin rescues Anko from Jiro Island in the Land of Sea
Following the events at the Iburi hideout, Arikurin is dispatched on another high-priority mission. His objective: infiltrate one of Orochimaru’s bases located in the Land of the Sea. Intelligence suggests Orochimaru has been conducting secret experiments there, possibly on human subjects. Upon breaching the facility, they are met with the remnants of Orochimaru's horrific experiments: failed test subjects, decayed machinery, and unsettling research notes. In one of the inner chambers, an unconscious Anko is found and carried out of the crumbling facility onto the sand. Upon inspection is was learned that Orochimaru had used Anko as a test subject for his Cursed Seal of Heaven.
Traitor Investigation Arc[]

Uchiha vs ANBU
Arikurin learned that an ANBU loyal to Hiruzen was in possession of a top-secret scroll, a vital piece of intelligence that was meant to be delivered directly to the Hokage. The scroll contained sensitive information that could potentially shift the balance of power in Konoha’s favor—or expose critical vulnerabilities. Danzō, always looking for ways to strengthen his position, quickly recognized the importance of obtaining this intel. He assigned a specialized team to retrieve the scroll, ensuring that the mission would be carried out without drawing attention or revealing the true motive behind it. Before the Root team can acquire the scroll, Itachi and Shisui Uchiha intervene. immediately engage the Root operatives.

Arikurin and Itachi clash
Shimora continues to track the ANBU as Shisui’s Body Flicker Technique overwhelms Shikari, who struggles to predict his movements. Shisui darts in and out of sight, landing precise strikes that force Shikari into a defensive stance. Meanwhile, Itachi closes in. Arikurin arrives just in time to intervene. Itachi launches a fireball jutsu, its intensity lighting up the area, but Arikurin is ready. With a swift motion, he slashes through the fireball with his blade, the flames parting as his chakra-enhanced strike slices through it with ease and gets in close. The 2 seasoned ANBU eventually overwhelm the young Uchiha duo. However, they were forced to retreat as they did not have the authorization to kill members of the Uchiha clan,

Arikurin returns the scroll to Danzo
Elsewhere, Shimora tracked the poisoned ANBU operative to a remote location. The operative, weakened and barely conscious, is unable to resist as the Root team retrieves the scroll. The scroll reveals Mukai Kohinata a Konoha Jōnin, has been secretly selling village secrets to a contact in Kirigakure for the past few months. To uncover the full extent of the betrayal, Danzō assigns Arikurin to join Mukai’s team under the guise of a routine reassignment. In reality, Arikurin is tasked with spying on Mukai and gathering evidence for his eventual elimination.
Team Mukai Arc[]

Team Mukai
Under orders from Danzō, Arikurin and Shikari joined Mukai Kohinata on a high-priority espionage mission, forming Team Mukai . Their objective was to infiltrate Sunagakure and monitor a clandestine meeting between the Fourth Kazekage and a representative from Kirigakure. Intelligence suggested that the two villages were on the verge of forming an alliance—a pact that would threaten the fragile peace following the Third Shinobi World War and potentially ignite another large-scale conflict. To ensure the mission's success, Mukai was designated team leader due to his tactical expertise and combat skills. Arikurin, however, had an additional covert task: to keep a close eye on Mukai, whose loyalty to Konoha was under suspicion.

Arikurin defeats multiple pursuers
Despite their careful planning, one of the team members inadvertently triggered a booby trap as they exited the area. The alarm drew the attention of Sunagakure's ANBU forces, who immediately began their pursuit. Mukai’s team fled into the desert, but the Suna-nin closed the distance rapidly. Eventually they decided to fight their pursuers. Arikurin stepped forward, using his Vibration Control: Bullets to neutralize their attackers from long range. His precise strikes caused shockwaves that disoriented the Suna-nin, creating an opening for the Mukai to take them out up close. In the end, because Suna and Kiri's planned alliance had been discovered by Konoha before it could be formalized, the two villages were forced to abandon it. Not long after, Arikurin assigned to finally eliminate Mukai.

Mukai Kohinata clashes with Arikurin
He and Shikari ambushed him during one of his secret meetings with a Kiri-nin. Despite Arikurin's efforts to maintain distance, Mukai quickly closed the gap, attempting to strike with a Gentle Fist technique. However, the Arikurin he attacked was a Swiftlet Clone, a distraction long enough for the real Arikurin to reposition himself. Shikari entered the fray, his fists covered in ice. The two engaged in a brief but intense taijutsu exchange, their movements sharp and precise. Mukai tried to anticipate Shikari's strikes, but the ice made every blow feel like a solid wall.

Mukai is caught in a Genjutsu
Perched atop the tree, Arikurin began to play his Genjutsu Melody, Tree Binding., the haunting notes weaving through the air. Mukai’s movements froze as the melody took hold, his body immobilized by the binding power of the sound. Seizing the opportunity, Arikurin descended with fluid grace, his Shindō Tantō shimmering in the dim light. In one precise, ruthless motion, he closed the distance and severed Mukai’s head cleanly from his body, ensuring the mission’s success with a swift, silent strike.

Mukai's Byakugan
Arikurin transported Mukai's byakugan back to Danzō, who, with the help of Root surgeons, transplanted it into Arikurin. He is ordered to wear a bandage over his eye at all times. This is for fear of Hyuga Clan retaliation. Because he wasn't a born Hyuga, Arikurin was technically forbidden to learn any of the clan's advanced techniques. Arikurin spent weeks in recovery within Root’s hidden facilities. The Eye Medicine Plant had worked as intended, ensuring the Byakugan adapted seamlessly to his body.

Byakugan Training Arc[]

Arikurin overuses his Byakugan
Although technically forbidden to learn the Hyūga Clan’s advanced techniques, Danzō provided Arikurin with scrolls detailing the fundamentals of the Gentle Fist. These scrolls had been obtained through clandestine means, and their use was strictly prohibited outside the Hyūga Clan. To ensure Arikurin’s mastery of the techniques, Danzō assigned him a trainer: Hirotaka Sakamoto, a Root operative and Hyūga. His deep knowledge of the Gentle Fist made him the ideal mentor. The training was grueling. Arikurin spent hours each day honing his chakra control, practicing strikes against dummies equipped with chakra sensors. Hirotaka pushed him relentlessly, demonstrating the fluidity and precision required for each move.

Gentle Fist training
Over time, Arikurin began to grasp the fundamentals of the Gentle Fist. His Byakugan allowed him to see the chakra pathways of his opponents, enabling him to strike with pinpoint accuracy. One day, Hirotaka introduced him to a key principle of the Gentle Fist: the ability to block an enemy’s chakra flow by targeting their tenketsu. Arikurin struggled at first, his strikes lacking the precision needed to close chakra points effectively. Determined, Arikurin redoubled his efforts. After weeks of relentless practice, he succeeded in closing his first tenketsu during a sparring match with Hirotaka.
Bear Spirit Arc[]

Arikurin leads his team to Papu Village
Team Fue, was dispatched to the Land of Bears on a mission. Their objective: to gather intelligence on the mysterious Peacock Method, a chakra technique rumored to grant incredible powers to the shinobi of Hoshigakure. To blend in, the team disguised themselves as hired laborers assisting with the repair of one of Papu Village’s many bridges, a key structure connecting the region. The team set up in a temporary campsite alongside other workers who would remain in the village for the duration of the repairs. The atmosphere at the campsite was tense, whispers of strange disappearances in the nearby forests circulating among the laborers. The workers spoke in hushed tones about the bear spirit, a malevolent presence said to inhabit the nearby woods.
That night, Team Fue ventured into the forest to uncover the truth. Arikurin activated his Byakugan to scout ahead, carefully scanning for anything out of the ordinary. After a few minutes, he spotted a faint chakra trail, its pulsating energy distinct and unnatural. The trail eventually led them to a dead end—a small clearing surrounded by towering trees. The oppressive silence was broken by a low growl. Moments later, massive bear emerged from the shadows, its eyes glowing faintly with chakra. The creature’s sheer size and ferocity made it clear that it wasn’t an ordinary animal.

Papu blasts away Arikurin
The bear spirit roared, its force hurling the ANBU team backward. It charged with startling speed as Fue barely dodged, rolling aside to hurl kunai laced with explosive tags. The blasts erupted, but as the smoke cleared, the bear stood unfazed, its chakra surging. Rearing up, its mouth glowed with fiery orange light. Amidst the chaos, Arikurin sensed unstable chakra pulsing around its heart and brain. The bear, overwhelmed with anger, fought to protect the forest as destruction drove it mad. Drawing his Shindo Tanto, he played a soft, ethereal melody. The calming chakra spread, dulling the bear’s fury. Its growls softened, its fiery aura fading as it listened.

Arikurin attacks Tsume
As the melody continued, the bear’s chakra pathways began to stabilize. he glowing red of the bear’s eyes faded, replaced by a dull amber. With its rage diminished, the bear’s massive form began to shrink slightly, its claws retracting and its fire attacks ceasing entirely. The air cracked around Arikurin as he descended toward the bear spirit, the force of his chakra-enhanced movement generating a sonic boom. The bear, still struggling to process its diminished rage, turned its glowing amber eyes upward just in time to see Arikurin’s incoming attack. With precision and raw power, Arikurin drove his heel into the bear’s face with a massive dropkick, The bear roared one last time, its form dissolving into pure chakra that scattered into the forest like golden fireflies. The oppressive atmosphere lifted, and the forest became eerily quiet.
Land of Woods Alliance Arc[]
Dissatisfaction was growing rapidly among the Uchiha clan members. In an attempt to further their plans, the Uchiha began planting members within Konoha's command structure to act as spies. This, however, led to increased surveillance on the Uchiha. Itachi Uchiha was assigned to the Anbu, the Hokage’s elite corps, but he disagreed with the clan's plans. Believing that a coup would only lead to another Shinobi World War, Itachi became a double agent, secretly feeding information about the Uchiha's intentions to Konoha.

Shikari, Kakashi, Arikurin and Itachi receive their orders
During this time, Konoha sought to strengthen its ties with the Land of Woods, proposing an exchange of special scrolls as a gesture of trust. To oversee the exchange, Arikurin and Shikari were paired Team Ro, forming a specialized four-man unit tasked with monitoring the transaction. Their mission was clear: observe the exchange and, in the event of betrayal, eliminate any opposition.

Arikurin appears
The exchange of scrolls took place in a secluded clearing surrounded by dense woods, the perfect setting for subterfuge. Arikurin and Shikari remained hidden among the trees, their presence cloaked by advanced Anbu techniques. Their sharp eyes and heightened senses were attuned to the subtle signs of betrayal that their mission brief had warned about. From their vantage point, they observed Might Guy and Kosuke Maruboshi approach the Prajñā Group's emissaries. Arikurin's sharp instincts noticed something amiss—the Prajñā emissaries seemed too tense, their movements betraying a nervous energy. As the supposed leader of the group handed over a scroll, her other hand subtly signaled to the rest of his team. The signal triggered chaos. The Prajñā-nin suddenly attacked, unleashing a coordinated assault meant to catch the Konoha team off-guard.

Team Fue defeats Prajna Group
The leader reveals a concealed kunai that he aimed at Kosuke Maruboshi. But Kakashi and Itachi sprang into action, leaping from their concealed positions with the swiftness of shadows. Arikurin then intercepted the leader mid-strike, his blade deflecting the kunai with a metallic clang. The two clashed fiercely, exchanging rapid blows. When the leader of the Prajñā-nin lunged for what seemed to be a vulnerable spot, Arikurin sidestepped, twisting his body with a fluid motion. In a single decisive strike, he drove his kunai into the enemy's shoulder, disarming him. The leader fell to the ground. Following this incident, Team Fue was assigned a new mission: infiltrate the Land of Woods to track down the leader of the Prajñā Group.
The Uchiha Clan Downfall Arc[]

Arikurin monitors the Uchiha Clan District
Despite Hiruzen's misgivings, Danzō persuades the Konoha Council to side with his decision to have the Uchiha put under strict surveillance, arguing that the clan's possession of the Sharingan made them the prime suspects in the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox’s Attack. He presents the idea that only someone with their ocular abilities could have controlled the beast, fueling existing distrust toward the Uchiha. Insisting that decisive action must be taken, Danzō orders the Anbu to place the Uchiha under relentless 24/7 surveillance. Every movement, every interaction is to be documented, and every sign of insubordination reported directly to him.

Arikurin reports urgent intel
The Uchiha, already aware of the suspicions cast upon them, find themselves increasingly cornered as the village they swore to protect begins treating them as enemies within their own walls. Realizing the devastating consequences of the clan’s actions, Shisui devised a desperate plan. He proposed to use his Mangekyō Sharingan’s Kotoamatsukami on Fugaku Uchiha, the clan leader, to subtly influence him and dissuade the coup. Unbeknownst to them, Arikurin, had deployed his swiftlet clone to spy on their conversation. The clone, with its ability to silently observe and relay information, remained undetected. and relayed this to Danzo.

Arikurin and Shisui clash
Danzō then summoned Shisui under the pretense of supporting his efforts. Accompanied by Arikurin and his operatives, Danzō confronted Shisui with feigned support, only to launch an ambush. Shisui, anticipating treachery, initially countered their attacks with precision and speed. But Danzō activated Izanagi—a forbidden technique that rewrote his reality. What should have been a fatal strike against him was undone in an instant, allowing him to appear behind Shisui and rip his right Mangekyō Sharingan from its socket. Blinded on one side and bleeding heavily, Shisui fled with remarkable speed, putting significant distance between himself and his pursuers.

Shisui is pursued
His vision blurred from blood loss, but he pushed on, knowing he couldn’t stop. Emerging from Shisui’s blind spot, Arikurin landed a precise blow, sending Shisui crashing against a tree. Shisui barely deflected the follow-up, but his body was failing. With no other choice, he forced his last chakra into the Body Flicker Technique, vanishing once more into the depths of the forest.mShisui pushed forward, but his vision swam, his body growing weaker with every passing second. Exhausted and realizing he could no longer protect both his eyes, Shisui continued to run and sought out his closest friend, Itachi Uchiha. Entrusting his remaining eye to Itachi, Shisui urged him to protect Konoha and prevent the Uchiha clan’s destruction. With his final act of loyalty, Shisui ended his life, ensuring his power would not fall into the wrong hands.

The intruder escaped through a warp portal, dodging Arikurin's attack
Back in the Root HQ, Danzo assigns Arikurin a new mission. To find and capture an intruder that is entering the village undetected and bypassing the barrier code. Arikurin meticulously scouted every barrier seal around the village, analyzing signs of tampering or unusual activity. After days of observation, he finally spotted a figure cloaked in secrecy: a masked man who moved with practiced stealth. Careful not to alert the intruder, Arikurin tracked his movements from a distance. Just as he was poised to deliver a silent decisive blow, the intruder activated a mysterious warp portal. In a swirl of distorted space-time, the masked man vanished before Arikurin could stop him.

Team Fue arrives at the Uchiha Compound
Some nights later, Fugaku Uchiha sought Itachi’s help to lead a bloodless coup against Konoha’s higher-ups, favoring diplomacy over the clan’s desire to control the Nine-Tailed Fox. However, Itachi, torn between family and village, reported the clan’s plans to the Konoha Council. While Hiruzen wished for peace, Danzō Shimura saw no solution that spared the Uchiha. Tasking Itachi with annihilating the clan in exchange for sparing Sasuke, Danzō solidified his plan. In a single night, Itachi and Tobi massacred the Uchiha clan. Tobi eradicated the military forces at the Police Force headquarters, enabling Itachi to dispatch the civilians with little resistance. Secretly, Tobi also claimed several Uchiha corpses for his own purposes. Shortly after the Uchiha massacre, Team Fue was dispatched to help clean the compound.

His achievements formally recognized for safeguarding Konoha. This dōjutsu, earned through sacrifice, was declared his alone, shielding him from contention or retribution. Before the handlers could trigger it, he struck with precise speed, eliminating them instantly. With the danger neutralized, Hiruzen chose mercy, offering Mugino a chance to start anew in Konoha.
Kurama Clan Arc[]

Kureni and Arikurin team up
Arikurin was tasked with assisting Kurenai Yūhi in training Yakumo Kurama, a prodigious genjutsu user who aspired to become a shinobi. The decision to involve Arikurin was deliberate, given his experience with Genjutsu. Yakumo’s abilities, however, quickly proved to be more of a burden than an asset. Her mastery of genjutsu was extraordinary, but her lack of control over her illusions posed a significant danger to herself and those around her. Despite the best efforts of Kurenai and Arikurin, Yakumo's instability began to manifest in destructive ways, raising the stakes of their training sessions.

Arikurin finds Yakumo with his Byakugan

One night, during a particularly volatile outburst, her illusions became so intense that they set her home ablaze. Trapped within the raging fire, Yakumo struggled to differentiate reality from her own created illusions, paralyzing her with fear and confusion. Arikurin, who had been monitoring her increasingly erratic behavior, arrived just in time. Assessing the situation, he quickly identified the fire as a combination of real flames and genjutsu-induced imagery. Using his Byakugan, he pinpointed Yakumo's location amidst the chaos and fought through the heat and smoke to reach her. Realizing Yakumo could not safely control her abilities, the Third Hokage ordered her genjutsu sealed.
