Once a user has control over a bat, or a number of bats, he or she can command them to produce high frequency, ultrasonic waves that affect the mind of the intended target. From this point, should the waves be saturated chakra, the technique can be used as an excellent segue into a genjutsu.
This technique is also one of the few, effective counters to the Crystal Release; as the ultrasonic waves move at a frequency that allow the crystal to breakdown at a molecular level and thus disperse into particles back into the air.
