This technique seems to be an advanced form of the Beast Tearing Slash, developed by Kato Kenshin. It uses chakra to infuse and condense a large amount of Wind nature chakra to form a massive sword blade extending from Kato's katana. The size is controlled by Kato, so it can be anywhere from simply covering the blade, to becoming large enough to be compared to the weapon of a Susanoo. When at full size, this massive wind blade is even capable of producing similar devastation to that of Madara Uchiha's Perfect Susanoo's sword. In fact, it possesses even more cutting power, since it is made from Wind Release. This means that this technique is capable of slashing through entire mountain ranges and even stand up against Tailed Beast Balls.
