Kuryu (クリュ, Kuryu) is a ancient dragon hailing from a bygone era, a colossal size elder dragon who resides in his domain and created Black Dragon Cove. Due to his long undying history with his alpha rival Spider Heiress (クモ相続人, Kumo sōzokujin), their battles continued to wage to the present with each successor to the Jorōgumo power. His existence is regarded to be immeasurable to many dragons on Méihuā, depicting kuryu as an elder god-like entity although he's commonly revered as Black Dragon Sage (黒龍仙人, Kokuryū Sennin), a powerful dragon sage who remained king of dragons.
