Chikao Hagoromo (羽衣千佳雄, Hagoromo Chikao) is an elite Jōnin of Takigakure, the commander of the newly established Takigakure Anbu, and a skilled warfare tactician. A descendant of the Hagoromo Clan and a staunch supporter of his distant kin’s campaign for the Hagoromo Dynasty, he joined the Abyssal Coil and quickly rose through the ranks from an Outer to an Inner member. Chikao Hagoromo was born during the latter days of the Warring States Period, when the lands were still rife with conflict, and smaller nations like Takigakure struggled for survival against the larger Hidden Villages. He was the son of a war orphan, a child who bore the distant but powerful blood of the Hagoromo Clan, a lineage that traced its roots to the Sage of Six Paths himself.
However, unlike his distant kin in Konohagakure, who wielded the power of the Rinnegan or Six Paths Chakra, Chikao’s bloodline was considered impure, a diluted remnant of what once was. His father, a low-ranking shinobi of Takigakure, was slain in battle before Chikao could even remember his face.
