This technique allows a ninja to take a cloak or a piece of cloth to seemingly blend into their surroundings. The user can then gather intel from their position or wait for an opportunity to stage an ambush on unsuspecting targets. Although this is a basic skill, it can be effective when used by more competent ninja. When used by Konohamaru Sarutobi during his early time in the Ninja Academy, his disguises were particularly ineffective.
