Fuyumi envelops her entire body in coldfire, enhancing her offensive and defensive capabilities. As a result of the extreme cold and the ability for fire to spread to other materials, she is capable of freezing her opponents and spreading coldfire to their bodies (as well as other materials and surfaces) without even needing to come into direct contact with them. Her physical attacks are exeptionally lethal, and can cause the bodies of her opponents to freeze and start crumbing away into snow dust. In addition, it can also be used for defensive purposes, as it acts as a deterrent towards those who wish to attack her physically; coming too close, or touching her body will result in ice-cold wounds. The frigid aura of flames enveloping her is so strong that incoming objects and projectiles such as swords, kunai, or fists can be frozen and reduced to snow powder before making contact with her body. However, powerful enough ninjutsu will be able to injure her.

This technique does not require exceptional chakra control to produce, but does require decent chakra control to maintain. Additionally, it burns through chakra quickly, so Fuyumi cannot remain in this mode for extended periods of time without depleting her chakra reserves. Turning down the power of the cold reduces the chakra consumption and increases the potential duration of the technique at the cost of technique effectiveness.

Appearance-wise, this technique envelops Fuyumi in a cloak of blue coldfire. Certain parts of her body show signs of more intense flames than others. Visually, she gains a pair of coldfire kitsune ears, as well as a single coldfire kitsune tail; the tail can be manipulated as an extra appendage to attack and defend.

This technique does not require any handseals.
