Crescent Release (三日月遁, Mikadzukiton, Crescent Style) is an advanced nature transformation Kekkei Genkai, a combination of steel and light. This chakra nature allows the user to generate crescents made from moonlight, among many others. This allows the user to create several light-based attacks shaped like a crescent that deal damage akin to that of steel. Any and all attacks appear to be light to the target. Crescent Release is a powerful chakra nature when used by the right hands, accessing a large shot from the moon’s light itself.
Relationship with other Natures[]
Crescent Release forms a strange nature when encountering other releases, usually unknown to the opponent of its capabilities. It converts moonlight into steel through chakra imbuement.
Capabilities[]
The release converts energy from the moon and its light, mostly, as well as other light sources reinforcing it into steel (not all light can be converted). This is done by imbuing the user’s chakra into properties of steel, unto the light. Only moonlight or light reflected by the moon can be converted into metal, and users who attempt to do a Light Release version fail to succeed.
