Daishōnetsujigoku (大焦熱地獄だいしょうねつじごく, Hell of Great Burning Heat) is an exceedingly powerful Radiation Release dōjutsu created and used by Ryuunosuke Tennōji. It is the antithesis to Munetsuten.

Overview

Ryuunosuke gathers the appropriate chakra before gazing at his target. Upon activation, the chakra is converted into pure thermal radiation (熱放射, Netsuhōsha) at the focus of the user's vision, generating temperatures exceeding 350,000,000°C within 1/1,000,000th of a second,[1] vastly exceeding that of the Sun's core.[2] Under such circumstances, evasion becomes impossible. When first used by Ryuunosuke, the technique manifested in a fashion akin to blast wave of heat, generating what amounts to a thermal effect of a nuclear explosion. As Ryuunosuke grew more skilled with the technique, he could determine how large or small the barrier space was and thus had better control over it. By altering the size and shape of the barrier space, Ryuunosuke can determine what is and isn't affected by the technique, allowing him to affect only specific targets or areas at will. By casting it from his eyes in a telescoping fashion, he can use what amounts to heat vision. Ryuunosuke can also make use of the technique from any area of his body, allowing for specialized and varied use, such as defensive and supplementary applications.
