This is a genjutsu developed by Mikoto of Sunagakure. The user first stands in front of the opponent, and slowly disperses into the Sand; disappearing from sight. Afterwards, the victim finds themselves in a sandstorm, robbing them of their sight. This technique was capable of even robbing those with "Aided Eyes" sight. Only extremely skilled Genjutsu users, such as Itachi or Kurenai, can somewhat resist it; but even they are forced to wait until the genjutsu eventually ends. Mikoto can only hold the genjutsu for 8 minutes straight.
