Sunagakura Chūnin Exams Arc (砂隠れ中忍試験編, Sunagakure Chūnin Shiken-hen) is the second special interlude arc of Diaries of the Hidden Waterfall. It takes place six months after the conclusion of the previous arc and focuses on Takigakure's cooperation with Sunagakure to host the Chūnin Exams and Akatsuki's first major move since their participation in the Konoha Crush nearly two years prior. It is preceded by the first special interlude arc, Aokigahara Rainforest, and is succeeded by the first act of Part II, Kazekage Rescue Mission Arc.
