This technique, invented by Kami Fuyutama, utilizes the practitioner's skill with the Earth Release in order to immobilize a target in a coffin of stone. In order perform this technique the user is usually required to place their hand onto the ground before manipulating the earth beneath their target, which can then be commanded rise up and encapsulate the aforementioned target. Once an enemy is captured the user can suffocate the target by dragging them underneath the surface, or merely keep them immobilized for a variety of reasons. Additionally, techniques of the lightning nature are able to nullify the earth chakra of the technique, effectively breaking down the coffin.
Both Kami and Ōzume, Kami's spiritual successor, have demonstrated that the durability of the coffin can be increased by channeling the user's ancestral chakra into it. This variation is notably limited to those of Fuyutama descent, and also requires a substantial amount of chakra to perform.
