Using the soil's special properties the user corrodes the ground in the area, the range can be widened by increasing the amount of chakra used for the jutsu. This causes the ground to become more loose than naturally possible in nature however the soil area retains it original shape but becomes extremely fragile. Any subtle movements and the person moving will be buried in over a 30 meters of soil and rocks. This is due to the rapid decrease in the density of the soil and rocks in the area. This technique can be used for a variety of purposes such as trapping multiple targets at once by using a weaker version, defeating large creatures or constructs and if used with refined chakra control it can be manipulated in such a way that it seems the user controls the earth itself.
