Earth Release Chakra Mode is a heightened state of skilled Earth Release users.
Usage[]
The user wraps their body in a layer of earth chakra which, instead of being used offensively, is used to harden the users skin. The technique hardens the users body to its utmost absolute limit, making it many times as hard than even diamond, while still retaining its flexible nature. The techniques activation is depicted by the users hair, which turns darker and quite stiff. This also boosts the users destructive power. Users of this chakra mode are also able to merge with and pass through earthen substances unharmed and unaffected, and even using them as extensions of their body. By extending its extreme defense into their surroundings, the user can make objects and entire structures nearly indestructable, while being able to withstand lightning, heat, corrosion and erosion techniques with quite ease.
Despite it being an earth based technique, its not weak against lightning natured attacks. It can be combined with other chakra modes, like Lightning Release Chakra Mode, affording them the diamond hard defense and strength with lightning fast reflexes and significant boosts in reaction time. Utilizing taijutsu in this state allows one to utilize Nintaijutsu.
