Electrical Whiplash (電気式鞭打ち症, Denreishiki Muchiuchishō) is a dynamic offensive technique that is derived from the unique lightning style of Satoru Kensei, who invented it under the disguise of Kyogi. Through the inborn ability to control magnetism, Satoru concentrates on his own magnetic field to pull out the excessive energy that is produced within his body: it becomes a fluid magnetic field that is hardly visible on its own to the eyes. The magnetic field is harmless on its own and potentially could phase through the victim without harm. However, the magnetic field has absorbed the deadly and raw electrical properties from Satoru, which he can activate at any given time.

While sharing his chakra to the magnetic field, he can determine how harmful the effect is at any moment. It is commonly used to immobilise the victims and render their tenketsu temporarily useless. However, depending on the mood of Satoru, the technique could potentially be used to critical (internal) damage the victims' body.

Electrical Whiplash Small

The utilisation of electrical whiplash with mere lightning, which shows the electrical chakra clearly.

Notably, while Satoru makes use of the technique derived from his magnetism-based abilities, he has since taught the technique to Muketsu, whom employs the technique based purely on chakra-based lightning. As such, the difference between the powers of both techniques is significant. Nevertheless, Muketsu's control over his own chakra makes the technique a highly deadly one.
