Post-Fourth Shinobi World War[]
Months after the war, Sasuke was pardoned for his crimes on the good word of Naruto and Kakashi. At Konohagakure, funerals are held including a memorial service for those fallen in the war. Kakashi plans to succeed Tsunade as the Sixth Hokage. Kakashi and Tsunade tried to stop the Konoha Military Police Force from exposing the identities of everyone connected to Root in the aftermath of the group disbanding, in order to avoid suspicion among villagers thinking each other were former members. However, many names were still revealed, causing those people to become ostracised. With Danzo's death, Arikurin becomes chief of Konoha's ANBU and eventually Kakashi's Shadow Hokage.
Capture Garyō'[]
The events of this arc coincide with Kakashi Hiden: Lightning in the Icy Sky
It has been 1 year after the end of the Fourth Shinobi World War. Many missing-nin, including former Root members, joined the Ryūha Armament Alliance, drawn to Garyō's promise of a world where they had options other than mercenary work. The Armament Alliance started carrying out terrorist acts against the citizens of the Land of Waves. Arikurin is assigned a mission to capture Garyō, leader of the Ryūha Armament Alliance. The Ryūha Armament Alliance has been following the example set by Madara Uchiha, and in doing so has cost the lives of several of the Land of Waves' citizens.
When they locate the group's hideout, Naruto attacks with his Multiple Shadow Clone Technique. He easily deals with most of the enemy forces, but has difficulty with a masked bodyguard that uses Ice Release. Arikurin distracts the bodyguard with a shadow clone for long enough to apprehend Garyō. Despite the bodyguard's attempts to stop him, he escapes with Garyō on Sai's bird. Garyō tries to convince Arikurin that his group is doing the world some good by releasing it from the corruptive influence of money. Garyō was later imprisoned in the Blood Prison.
Protect The Tobishachimaru[]
Two months later, Kakashi has yet to officially take on the duties of being Hokage, feeling he's unqualified, leaving Tsunade to continue managing Konoha's affairs. Kakashi later leaves to oversee security for the Tobishachimaru's maiden voyage. Arikurin is also placed on the ship as most of Konoha's other forces are on guard duty for the Blood Prison in the wake of the death of Mui, its previous warden, several years earlier.
During the voyage, the Tobishachimaru is hijacked by the Ryūha Armament Alliance, who demand that Konoha release their leader, Garyō, vowing to kill the hostages and destroy the Tobishachimaru if their demands aren't met. The damaged Tobishachimaru starts rocking violently, flinging Rahyō from the ship, and then rises into the air uncontrollably, threatening to suffocate everyone aboard.
Konoha's ninja search the crashed Tobishachimaru, treating the passengers and taking Kahyō into custody. Tsunade threatens to have her executed since she is the highest ranking conspirator to survive the failed jailbreak, but Kakashi requests that he be allowed to pass sentence instead, what would be his first act as Hokage: Kahyō will stay at the Blood Prison for the rest of her life, acting as warden by using her Chains of Ice on the prisoners. Both Tsunade and Kahyō agree to these terms.
Infiltrate The Land of Silence[]
The events of this arc conicide with Shikamaru Hiden: A Cloud Drifting in Silent Darkness
Concurrently, Kakashi sent Sai and a team of ANBU to the Land of Silence to investigate, but all go missing; the last communiqué suggests the Land of Silence's leader, Gengo, may be behind it all. In order to protect the Shinobi Union's interests, Gengo must be assassinated. Sai sends a message using his super beast imitating drawing to Kakashi. Kakashi and Shikamaru are concerned by a number of things in Sai's message: the clear haste it was written with, not having Sai's characteristically clear handwriting. He also reports that his entire team has gone missing, including Shikari, and he warns of the threat posed by Gengo, the Land of Silence's strangely charismatic leader.
Arikurin interrogates Minoichi
It takes Arikurin 2 days of nonstop travel to reach the Land of Silence. He infiltrates the capital city that evening so that he can try to find Shikari. Arikurin follows a group of men after over hearing them talk about a Konoha ANBU that spied on them a while back. He spots a former Konoha ANBU, Minoichi, who went missing in the last war, after killing his unit. Arikurin easily defeats him and places a self-curing seal on him. As Arikurin interrogates him, he learns more of Gengo's ideology. He learns that Gengo and his Enlightened Ones overthrew the previous daimyō and now rule the country. The Enlightened Ones all speak reverently of Gengo and criticise the shinobi system. And yet, the Land of Silence offers shinobi services (albeit at significantly cheaper prices), and so they are only reproducing the very system they claim to hate. Gengo will appears for a public speech tomorrow night. This gives time for Arikurin to collect the bounty on Minoichi. The following night at the speech, Gengo reveals a restrained Sai, and the crowd asks for his death. Gengo's words begin to affect Arikurin but quickly dispells the genjutsu. He deduces that Gengo's voice is laced with genjutsu. Arikurin enhances the chakra in his hearing so Gengo's voice can't affect him. Shikamaru then tries saving Sai, now an Enlightened One. Sai attacks him with numerous ink tigers. Shikamaru and the rest of his squad are quickly captured by Gengo's Enlightened Ones. Wondering if Gengo will bring them to where Shikari is being held, Arikurin follows them to Fushū Castle.
Arikurin draws his Blade against Shikari
Shikari is revealed to be a guard, having been converted by Gengo. Arikurin is forced to fight his long time teammate. After defeating him, Arikurin enters Shikari's mind to break Gengo's hold on him. He finds him trapped deep in his consciousness, wrapping himself with memories of his mother. Arikurin cuts out Gengo's tongue, robbing him of his ability to talk. Defeated, Gengo is taken into custody by Shikari. Most of the Konoha and Suna forces return to their villages, with a small force remaining behind to help the Land of Silence return to normalcy after Gengo's arrest.
The Last[]
The events of this arc coincide with The Last: Naruto the Movie
Hiashi and his two ANBU bodyguards were confronted by Toneri Ōtsutsuki outside Konoha. After turning down his request, he is attacked and left defeated by Toneri's puppets. Heavily injured, Hiashi attempted to make his way back to Konoha, but collapsed en route where he was rescued by Arikurin. Later, Arikurin attends a Five Kage Summit to discuss the imminent crashing of the Moon with Kakashi. They vote to destroy the moon if it gets to close. Kakashi pleads with Arikurin to try and find another way and give shim a special clock that counts down to the Moon's collision.
In the following days, meteors increasingly rain down on the world and the Kage decide that the Moon must be destroyed. WHen Arikurin returned to Konoha he discovers a series of meteorites from the Moon bombarding the village. When one particularly large meteor makes it through the village's defences, he quickly destroys it with an Orchestral Stab.

Kakashi summons Arikurin
Kakashi meets with Arikurin and tells him about two separate attacks by unknown perpetrators against the Fire daimyō, While visiting a hotspring in Konoha, a kunai is thrown at and nearly hits the daimyō. He is unharmed, but because of an attack on Homura Mitokado a few days earlier, the ANBU guarding him are placed on alert. Kakashi belives the two attacks are connected and wants Arikurin to investigate both incidents by himself. Later, the Kakashi meets with the daimyō to discuss Konoha's annual budget. He tries to secure additional funding for a children's mental health initiative run by Sakura Haruno. Kido Tsumiki argues that, because of the attacks on the daimyō and Homura, the additional funding should instead go to the ANBU. The daimyō defers to Homura, who sides with Kido.
Arikurin attempts to suppress tailed beast chakra
Later, Arikurin meets with Sai just outside of Konoha and sends him to investigate if some criminals listed in the Bingo Book are behind the two attacks. As he returns to the village, Arikurin is attacked by two masked individuals. Although each of the attackers has a cloak of tailed beast chakra, he is able to drive one of them off and capture the other. Arikurin starts questioning the captive, but when the man begins to respond a juinjutsu activates and his body blows up. He obsevres that the attacker's suicidal juinjutsu is similar to what Danzō Shimura used on his agents. This, combined with the fact that nobody but an ANBU could have even guessed Sai's assignment convinces Arikurin that it is all part of a scheme concocted byformer Root agents.
The next day Gaara, informs Konoha that Sasuke has been to Suna. Sasuke meets with a group of Suna missing-nin, offering to help them perform a coup d'état in Suna if they will first help him destroy Konoha. When the group's leader refuses to be subordinate to him, Sasuke kills him. A squad of Suna ANBU immediately begins attacking the group and Sasuke escapes in the commotion. Not long after, more reports about Sasuke broke. He approached some arms dealers several weeks earlier seeking weapons for an attack on Konoha, and then killed the dealers when they failed to cooperate. He also reveals that, after the war, he saw ANBU collecting samples from the Valley of the End and the bridge where Sasuke fought Danzō.
Arikurin joins the Peacekeepers as "Nohkan"
Desperate for continued income, Kido began orchestrating small security incidents, involving high officials in the village, to ensure continued funding. Kido and Magire are taken back to Konoha, where they are interrogated by Ibiki Morino and Kido confesses that he collected hair and blood samples from Naruto to create the tailed beast cloaks. In the end his efforts cause ANBU to lose funding. Forcing Arikurin to seek wages elsewhere. He soon accepted Hirotaka's offer to join the Peacekeepers.
Peacekeepers[]
The purpose of the group was to prevent future wars. In the beginning, the group only consisted of Hirotaka, but soon it grew. The group of twelve is most famous for having fought all elite forces of Iwagakure alone to prevent a war between Iwagakure and Kumogakure. This made them widely renowned in the world, and simply the fear was enough to prevent lots of conflict. Although, this also made the group hated in lots of Hidden Villages, Iwagakure especially. They soon became a target for Hidden Rock forces, and were constantly pursued by ANBU and Jōnin units.
Defend Hoshigakure[]

Arikurin is paired with Kumo. They were later dispatched to Hoshigakure where a man named Akahoshi had escaped from prison with the intentions of attempting a second coup d'etat, as well as restarting star training in an ability known as the Mysterious Peacock Method. Thus, the two Peacekeepers went undercover, posing as Hoshigakure shinobi in order to gather intel. When they were eventually discovered, Akahoshi attacked them. After a short battle, they succeeded stop him. Additionally, the Hoshikage agreed to end the star training if the Peacekeepers were to help guard it. After forming an agreement, Kumo and Arikurin sealed away the meteorite in a secure hiding place. It was sealed by Arikurin's sound tags in a cave, rested on an eagle claw pedestal.
Infiltrate Kumogakure[]

There are rumors of Kumogakure experimenting with Jinchūrikis. In order to confirm Arikurin and Kumo infiltrate Kumogakure. They extract experiment information from the Raikages mind after he is caught in Arikurin's Genjutsu. Not long after, C and Darui arrive after sensing unfamilar chakra. While Arikurin continues to extract information, Kumo Chinoike is forced to stall with his Ketsuryūgan. When they arrived, C launched an attack with his Lightning Release: Lightning Illusion Flash of Lightning Pillar technique to blind Arikurin and his team, creating an opening for the Darui to attack. When Darui activated his jutsu, the attack landed on the pillars, causing the ceiling to come crashing down on ANBU, Raikage, Darui and C.
A pair of Kumo-nin defeat a Swiftlet Clone
In the midst of the chaos, the Fourth Raikage awakens, and while in his Lightning Release Chakra Mode, runs towards the ANBU, attacking at maximum speed. Arikurin spins rapidly, and attempts to repel the attack, creating a protective shield using his Sound Release: Vacuum Palm Rotation. A's speed however is too fast, and he is able to pierce through the defense and hits the ANBU members, knocking them all back in various directions. The blowback from massive attack hitting the shield shatters the walls and windows of the office. Kumo later died due to injuries sustained in the battle while Arikurin survived to the next iteration.
Eventually, Hirotaka Sakamoto turned over the position as leader of the organization to Honey B and Arikurin and a few other started Otogakure ANBU.
Otogakure ANBU[]
Otogakure ANBU started with ex-ANBU from various villages looking for extras wages. With the formation of the Shinobi Union, many ex-ANBU and hunter-nin skilled shinobi were out of work. The Shinobi Union accepts missions from clients and forms a team from all its member nations' shinobi who are found to be most suitable for the mission. Such a system was allegedly to provided equal opportunity to all villages, but the need for ANBU and Hunter-nin skilled ninjas began to decline rapidly. The groups' earliest missions were mainly espionage and intelligence-gathering assigned by Orochimaru in hopes to gain leverage on the Five Great Shinobi Countries.
Infiltrate Iwagakure: vs. Onoki[]
A group of 5 Oto-ANBU attempt to gain usable intel on Iwa from Ōnoki after he departs Shikamaru Nara's house after a few games of shogi. The 2 body guards are easily defeated. Onoki summons earth golems to assist him in battle. ANBU trade blows with golems until they are defeated. Onoki prepares for a fight to the death in order to stop the ANBU from capturing him. Arikurin finds himself at the receiving end of Onoki's Dust Style attack and appeared to had been atomized. But that Arikurin is revealed to have been Swiftlet Clone. s Onoki manages, however, to kill an ANBU in combat. Onoki gets exhausted, and leaves an opening for the 4 remaining ANBU to attack him but that is revealed to be a sand clone, shocking the ANBU.
Onoki trapped in Arikurin's Curse Mandala
Flying above the remaining 4 ANBU, Onoki prepares to let off a massive Dust Style attack but is caught in a pyramid-like chakra cage which will slowly constrict as the user moves his hands closer together called the Curse Mandala. As Onoki struggles to get out of the Curse Mandala, Hayato Orochi uses the Binding Snake Glare Spell technique to summon a snake out of his sleeve towards Onoki. As the snake flies towards the constricted Onoki, Arikurin releases the Curse Mandala technique and Onoki is struck by the snake. The snake coils around Onoki, constricting his movement yet again. The snake bites down onto Onoki's neck and he falls unconscious and falls to the ground, now able to be freely kidnapped without resistance. The ANBU Agents able to skillfully probe the mind of Onoki before Arikurin erases his memory of the battle. Arikurins orders Hayato and others to return to Oto-ANBU HQ and remains in the village to maintain his cover.
Sasuke Shinden: Book of Sunrise[]
In Otogakure, Arikurin receives word that invaders are approaching the village, all of them wearing either Kiri or Kumo uniforms. Loud explosions can be heard near the village's perimeter. With bodies exploding after being injured, Arikurin uses his Byakugan to search the area for someone controlling the attackers, but can find none. He discovers foreign chakra signatures in each of the attackers' bodies. Using this information, they devise a strategy: they separate and distract the attackers so that Shikari can restrain them one-by-one while Arikurin seals their tenketsu. Conventional methods of dispelling genjutsu don't work, confirming their suspicions that the foreign chakra is responsible for their actions. Arikurin tries to read their minds to see if he can learn anything. Immediately upon doing so, he is caught in a genjutsu trap that has been placed on the ninja. Though he succeeds in escaping, the strain causes him to pass out.
Sasuke, Orochimaru, & Arikurin at the Coliseum
Later, Sasuke locates Orochimaru within his hideout and asks if he knows anything about the Lightning Group, believing that the group's former leader is also behind the attack on Konoha. Orochimaru shares the rumour that the Lightning Group's leader once worked for En Oyashiro, an arms dealer. Not long after, Sasuke along with Orochimaru, Arikurin go to Coliseum. When entering the Coliseum, Orochimaru reveals to him that Sasuke is a kekkei genkai owner himself, causing Sasuke to be forced into participating in the tournament to lure out En Oyashiro

Arikurin and Emiko investigate under Jomae Village
Rumors had reached Otokagure ANBU HQ about unusual activity in the Land of Keys. The Land of Keys are known for their skills espionage, so any information from that area needed to be fact checked. Arikurin had dealt with a spy named Hanare and their leader Kaito years prior. He took it upon himself to attempt to spy on the area and gain useful intel. There, he is easily found by the Land of Keys ANBU. and he teams up with Emiko as they uncover a plan by the Kara Outer. Along the way, Emiko reveals that it all began when her adoptive father, Kaitō, was discharged from a hospital owned by a man named Victor, who unbeknownst to them, is a Kara inner. Since then a foul chakra has drifted about that village, which was discovered to be a God Tree. Following a quickly crafted plan, Emiko and Arikurin managed to destroy the tree and Kaitō.
After a gruesome cross-examination by Hinge ANBU and Jōmae Military, Arikurin was freed but remained close to the village. Later, he and Emiko are attacked by Yoshinashiki Ōtsutsuki, a mysterious being who appeared before the two could part ways. Son Gokū took control of Emiko's body to initiate a new form called "Baryon Mode" and together with Arikurin, barely fended off Yoshinashiki during a transient moment of weakness, at the expense of Son Gokū's own life and the two ANBU-nin being critically injured.
Sinister Sounds - Bleak Insurgence and the Sixth's Wrath[]

Keshin Enenra defeats Arikurin
Arikurin and Oto-ANBU agents attepmt to ambush an unknown Ōtsutsuki Clan opponent later found to be Keshin Enera. Arikurin is no match the the opponents fighting style: Rōkutōryū — the practice of an unorthodox manner of sword combat involving simultaneous usage of six swords. Arikurin's blade is destroyed. Without his blade, Arikurin, is soundly defeated.
Arikurin receives Shinobi-ware
Later, Arikurin's receives new tech glasses that allow his Byakugan to use less chakra. His left shin is also repaired with shinobi-ware, Katasuke noted that they are powered by Arikurin's own chakra and Byakugan. Later, he relays this intel to the Otogakure ANBU Scientific Ninja Tools Team. The tech implanted in him is studied by Otogakurein hopes to reverse engineer the technology. Keshin is added to Arikurin's Bingo Book.
