Ayame Uchiha (うちはあやめ, Uchiha Ayame) is a kunoichi from Yamagakure's noble Uchiha clan. Ayame is married to Sannoto Senju, and they both gave life to her former only child Seigetsu Uchiha. She is known throughout the village as Ayame of the Crystal Release (晶遁のあやめ, Shōton no Uchiha Ayame) for her use of the Crystal Release. She founded a small jewelry store, which started in Yamagakure, known as, A Smile's Jeweler — and over time had become known multi billion ryō company. Nearly all other jewelry shops were put out of business because of her specialized jewelry. As of recent Ayame has purchased most all banks in the shinobi world forming somewhat of a monopoly.
She is now the Daimyō of the prestigious Land of Fire. After her son, Seigetsu, had taken the reigns as Hokage of Konohagakure she was left home lonely nearly all the time. Sannoto would soon return home from a sea journey — impregnate her — and nine months later should would give birth to a little girl named Akaihime Senju.

A woman of Ayame is sculpture is usually thought to be outgoing. Nearly never afraid to express their feelings, but this is the opposite of whom Ayame is. Growing up in a world, and a nation that knew only war, Ayame in her youth, was quite freighted by life itself. On many occasions she would trip over her words, and wouldn't look people into their eyes. Witnessing the death of many shinobi forged Ayame to be an anti-fighter. All she wanted was to heal the world of its conflict. Which was why she became extremely skilled in medical ninjutsu.
