| ● Ikuto Uchiha | |
A humorous technique where chakra is kneaded inside the body and converted into fire, then expelled from the mouth either as a massive orb of roaring flame or as a continuous flamethrower. This jutsu is derived from the original Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique but with one major difference.
Before the user gathers chakra for the attack, he/she is required to ingest a hot pepper or any spicy food before performing the attack. By converting the spice and flavor of the food into an intense, unusually powerful chakra, the user is able to amply the power of a Fire Release attack significantly, even more depending on the spiciness of the food.
The released flames will engulf the target and leave a significant mark on the ground's surface. This technique requires slightly less chakra than the standard fireball technique but leaves a slight unpleasant and burning aftertaste.
Trivia[]
- Ikuto Uchiha was the original creator of this technique, and it was ironically unintentional. Experimentation and fooling around produced a surprisingly devastating result.
- The aftertaste of this technique is apparently very unappealing. It is described as "ignition of sparks in your mouth, followed by the taste of your tongue burning very slowly."
- The spicier the food, the more power this technique will have; however, a food that is too spicy to handle by the user will result in a "dud" and cause the user to cough out a large black cloud.
- Ikuto commonly uses chili peppers to initiate the attack.
- Each food adds a special side effect to the attack that is representative of the taste. For example, Wasabi allows a massive burst of chakra to be released but then fades away extremely quickly.
