The Genryū are five legendary dragons that appear in Naruto Shippuden: Dragon Blade Chronicles. Each Genryū represents the five elemental natures: earth Release, water Release, wind Release, fire Release, and lightning release.
History[]
Before the First Shinobi World War, the Genryū fertilised the land belonging to the Ryū clan. If all five of the Genryū are merged together, they form the Light Dragon, capable of destroying the world. Kuroma Tatsushiro sought to become the Light Dragon to seek revenge on those who hate him and his sister Akari Tatsushiro from being descendants of the Ryū clan and destroy the world.
Abilities[]
The Genryū is very similar to the tailed beasts in that it is a living form of chakra. It is said to be very power and only shinobi who have the ability to counter all 5 elements can beat it.
Chakra[]
Though the Genryū by themselves are not as power as the Original Tailed Beast, it is said the when fused into the Light Dragon, it has the destructive power to destroy the world. Now it is used as a chakra source for Ryūshi, to destroy his enemies. It is said that this dragon has the purest chakra due that it has no negative emotion but it can be conned easily.
Nature Transformation[]
The Genryū possess all 5 basic elemental natures in fire water earth lightning and wind. It is said that the Genryū and its host can use any elemental jutsu. During the battle Ryūshi, the Genryū was capable of synchronizing their attacks that is very similar to shinobi Kekkei Genkai.
