Genshin (原神 Harakami) was the First Kazekage (初代風影, Shodai Kazekage, literally meaning: First or Founding Wind Shadow) and the founder of Sunagakure in the Land of Wind.

Background

Warring States Period

Genshin was born during the Warring States Period.

He then encounter the inhabitants of the desert, all families of neighboring lands forced to flee to the desert lands of the Land of Wind by the ensuing conflict, as it was the safest place for refugees displaced by the Warring States Period because of the shinobi clan's disadvantage in the desert drove them away.

As the previous First Kazekage, one of the Five Kage's, Genshin was recognized as the strongest shinobi in the village and regarded as one of the most powerful shinobi in the world in his time. As the First Kazekage, Genshin had the highest authority over the entirety of Sunagakure, overseeing the activities of his village and had total operational command of the entire shinobi military of Sunagakure, from sending ninja on missions to making the hard decisions regarding the safety of his people, with only the Daimyo of the Land of Wind superior to him and due to his affiliation with the Daimyo, he had cooperation with thousands of shinobi forces living within the Land of Wind and overseen the activities of his village and held the responsibility in leading them to prosperity.
