Gesshoku, also called Eight Trigrams Moon Palm (八卦月掌, Hakke Tsuki Shō), was a technique Izayoi discovered upon activation of her Tsukinaga Byakugan. The technique is a sequence of 9 strikes, the first eight opening all of the opponent's Inner Gates, and the last one, a tap on the forehead, closing all 361 chakra points at once. Because of the huge pressure of the chakra flowing free because all the gates are open, but all the points are closed, the opponent will eventually suffer an inner explosion, resulting in a very painful death.
This technique has a unique stance comparing to other Gentle Fist techniques. During the first use of this jutsu, the "Yin-Yang" sign began to spin rapidly until it eventually became a moon, with the "rings" going even one step further then during Eight Trigrams Three-Hundred-Sixty-One Palms. After using this technique, all of Izayoi's techniques she used during activation of her Tsukinaga Byakugan made use of the moon sign instead of the "Yin-Yang" sign, and where performed with more speed, flexibility and accuracy.
While using this technique, the speed of the user is incredible, leaving afterimages with each strike, making the user untraceable for the human eye. It is rumored that a Sharingan could be able to detect and block the attack, but this hasn't been proved. Apparently, this jutsu draws a lot of chakra, as Izayoi's Byakugan fell out, while she normally can keep it active the whole time with a minimum loss of chakra and she could barely move after utilizing this jutsu.
