The Gonnin (五忍者, Gonnin, Literally meaning: Legendary Five ninja) are five renowned shinobi from across the globe that Shinobi Union has labeled as the strongest of their generation. Praised as deities in field of combat, they are said to have the ability to change the world.

Shenron Uzumaki (神龍うずまき, Uzumaki Shenron) also known as Shenron Uchiha (神龍リュン, Uchiha Shenron) is a shinobi hailing from the Uzushiogakure's Uzumaki Clan and Uchiha Clan. Son of Mia Uzumaki and Raido X, he comes from prestigious blood. Shenron is also the Second Uzushiokage (二代目渦の影, Nidaime Uzushiokage), who aspires to make Uzushiogakure a member of the Great Shinobi Countries. His prowess as a shinobi has been recognized as one of the most powerful within his generation, earning him the renown rank of Gonnin.

Kei Yotsuki (Light of the Night Moon, 夜月明い, Yotsuki Kei) codenamed the infamous letters K and B, is the Head Ninja (忍頭, Shinobigashira) and one of the best Shugokage (守護影, Safeguard of the Shadows) of the Hidden Cloud. He is not only revered as one of five Gorosei, a name coined to the strongest shinobi of his time but as one of the nine Wakusei as well, a secretive organization dating back to the origin of the Shinobi Organisational System.

Zenjou Kaguya (かぐや禅譲, Kaguya Zenjō) is a shinobi of Sunagakure and the current Shichisama from Kirigakure who was brought to Sunagakure by his fearful mother. Zenjou possesses powers beyond accessing the pinnacle of physical capabilities. Although monstrous in such aspects, he's neither the fastest nor physically strengthened. However, his techniques are often said to be an absolute end for all things organic. Capable of ending organic life in an instant. Turning a vibrant flushed forest into a neverending desert of porcelain sand. Sannoto labeled Zenjou as a God of Destruction (破壊神, Hakaishin)
