Guardian is a chakra avatar that takes on a humanoid shape. It fights on behalf of its user and is similar to that of the Susanoo, which the Guardian technique was developed to combat by the Shinobi Union. It is considered a difficult technique to master and often only taught to highly trusted shinobi from the members of the Union. The avatar generally takes on a humanoid shape with a cowl-like structure covering its head. This gives the jaw a similar look to the grooves found on a blue whale, with similar patterns are found on the shoulders of the construct.
Usage[]
Users of the technique can develop an avatar of chakra at will. With this, the can conjure the arms of the titan, the upper body, or the full body. The avatar follows the actions of the user, using its increased size and power to great affect as it can battle those many times the size of the user on their own. It is supposedly able to combat tailed beasts if they were to run rampant, but this is dependent on the chakra and ability of the user as opposed to being innate to all users.
It was developed as a response to the usage of Susanoo in the Fourth Shinobi World War and the fear of it being used against the Shinobi Union again by those who may come to possess its power through different means. While a full-sized Guardian is weaker than that of a Complete Body — Susanoo, the idea was that multiple users of Guardian would be able to collaborate and used their combined power to defeat such a menace. Despite this, the Shinobi Union heavily regulates who they allow to learn the technique as to not allow it to be used against them.
Unlike Susanoo, it does not appear to be able to produce weaponry naturally, but one can channel their other techniques through it to mimic it. For example, Misei can create a blade of wind for her Guardian by channelling the Wind Release: Emerald Sky Technique through it.
