The Haabu Affair(ハーブ事件,Haabu no Ken) — as the incident is known nowadays in the Land of Sunshine — happened nine months after the alliance between Hakkingakure and Ryūgakure. When the Hakkinkage and Ryūkage met to discuss about the organization, Kuroiryuu, the Haabu Clan head, Suppai Haabu along with Hari and Kane Soga attacked the kage in an attempt to start a coup d'état. Suppai had partnered with Kurasa in order to take revenge among the Uchiha Clan. During the attack Suppai's adopted son Nezumiiro Sarutobi, fought along side the kage and the three defeated Suppai. With Suppai dead, Nezumiiro became the clan head. After the attack the Haabu clan are still not trusted for there betrayal, however Sen refused to exile them form the village.
