Koyomi Hyūga

Henjō (遍照, Literally meaning: Universal Illumination) is a transitory technique crafted by Koyomi Hyūga that produces a brilliant light capable of temporarily dulling and in most cases, eradicating the visual and sensory faculties of the opponent. According to Koyomi, this technique grants her a brief form of imperceptibilty.

Overview

By casting a Ikka Myōju high into the sky, the luminous sphere begins to quickly absorb an excessive natural energy in a steadfast pace. Once the sphere reaches its pinnacle of natural energy is absorption, the Ikka Myōju casts an extremely deific light the penetrates the darkest shadows and even the "underworld" itself. In many ways, it is analogous to the antiquated Infinite Tsukuyomi. The adamant luminescence is capable of piercing through a multitude of barriers along with several feet of bedrock and limestone. The light is used to incapacitate the opponent by removing their sense of sight which is appreciable in order to gain an advantage.

An additional bonus is that the light intermittently disrupts them brainwaves of the opponent rendering them unable to correspond thoughts or actions until the technique is complete. The light can disrupt certain jutsu such as the Clone Technique and the Shadow Clone Technique and other jutsu that requires any amount of focus to maintain. Koyomi does not become languished after using the technique but instead becomes bolstered after basking in the light. On the other hand, the opponent becomes lethargic and nearly paralyzed until the transitory light fades. This happens as soon the smallest amount of light refracts through the iris even if not directly from the source. Even when the light bounces off the ground, the opponent is subdued. When the Ikka Myoju is placed within an individual, the technique causes the body to beam with illumination.

Drawbacks

A-ranked barriers or high that are infused or based upon natural energy are able to defend against the technique.
