Hikari no Ki (光の気) is an ancient spirit and counterpart to the Yami no Ki, while typically genderless, it has been said to have a female personality. It was nicknamed Aria by Nisshō.

Appearance[]

Hikari no ki takes the appearance of a large bird, bathed in eternal light. It appears perched above a orb of light and chakra, and due to this fact it is spectral and can only be touched when it wills itself to be met, or if one uses powerful chakra.

Being a creature of pure chakra, it yields a considerable amount of power, far outclassing that of a Tailed Beast, and being closer to that of the Shinju. Due to this fact it typically remains outside the reach and realm of humans, having only ever interacted with the Ōtsutsuki twins.

Due to its status as a Guardian spirit, Hikari no ki is able to unify its energy and chakra with a mortal and pass on knowledge and skills onto the host body. This has been deemed very impractical to merge with mortals as most would not be able to handle the strain and would die after moments, however Nisshō Uchiha has proven to be able to not only handle the merge, but utilize a particular set of Ninjutsu known only by Hikari no ki.

Through his continued fusion with Aria (Hikari no ki), Nisshō was able to create a set of Ninjutsu that is are a lower-tier version of Rinnegan techniques. Currently he has created Almighty Collapse, which allows him to collapse objects in his field of vision. His second technique is the Universal Sight, which erases his presence from the sight of those caught in the range.

This link would become more permanent as he and the Hikari no ki would merge in close proximity to the Spirit Gate of the North. This caused a surge of power which fused the two together, and made Nisshō the new living incarnation of the "Spirit of Light". A portion of this power would be passed onto his two sons Sekai van Astrea and Sora van Astrea, prior to his full ascension and the two would go onto have conflicting ideas becoming the "Sage of Ideals" and the "Sage of Truth".

Trivia[]

This is based on the Spirit of Light, known as Raava in the Avatar Series.
Despite not being a Tailed Beast, she is classified as one due to her link to Nisshō van Astrea being similar to that of a Jinchūriki and a Tailed Beast. Aria however cannot be unsealed as she is not sealed within Nisshō but rather fused on a spiritual level to his own soul, making him the incarnation of Purity and Light.
