Hinagiku Uzumaki (うずまき ひなぎく, Uzumaki Hinagiku), more commonly referred to as simply Hina (ひな, Hina) is a Kunoichi who currently serves as the First Amekage of the Village Hidden in the Rain.
Younger sister to Arashi, she is a direct descendant and proud member of the famed Uzumaki Clan. Born with a powerful affinity for Water Release, her skill and prowess in the element are unsurpassed.

A well-known and well-respected Kunoichi of the Hidden Rain, Hinagiku Uzumaki stands in a league of her own as a gifted and powerful individual: possessing a potential that, even at her currently level, has only began to be scratched. Despite her young age, she has already carved out a name for herself as an S-rank shinobi and can easily be considered one of the most gifted kunoichi of the current era.

A direct descendant of the noble Uzumaki Clan, Hina is blessed with with an exceptionally potent life-force; giving her extended longevity, durability, and stamina. Unlike many in the world who claim the Uzumaki name, she is actually a full-blooded member: both her father and mother being the children of migrants who escaped Uzushio’s destruction. As a result, her inheritance of the Uzumaki abilities are of a significant higher degree than that of most of the half-bloods. Possessing the Body of the Sage to the fullest degree, Hina is able to keep in battle for even days on end: no need for a break or tap out. Her persistence is such that she can take even a felling blow, and still continue on with only the slightest pause. All testaments to her ability as a kunoichi and her position as the Amekage.
The second inherited attribute is that of the Uzumaki chakra coils. Potent and deep, Hina boasts exceptionally large levels of chakra that far surpasses the average kunoichi. She can easily outmatch any conventional Shinobi, and has even claimed that it would be no problem to match a group of fully grown men should she wish to. In fact, the single known occasion that she fully expressed her full power, Hina was able to completely halt Amegakure’s eternal rain just by lifting her finger. Her full quantity is high, and Hina herself has stated that she still has not managed to fully rein it in; simply due to its sheer force.

Hina is proficient in the basic elements of Lightning and Water, as well as Yin and Yang. Of the two aforementioned basic elements, her natural affinity is that of water: being descended of a group of people who made their home in a village surrounded by whirling tides and a current citizen in a town where the rain is seemingly endless, it is only fitting that Hina would find her affinity in the element. Having discovered her connection to the elemental force as a young girl fresh into the Rain Academy, her prowess has only grown in spades: putting in countless hours of dedicated training and practice in her endeavor to master it. She is currently one of the worlds best Water Release practitioners: able to perform the most high-level and draining techniques without need for a source, and with little to no difficulty.
Since her training, Hina showcased masterful usage when it comes to water and has garnered praise from shinobi who are more than twice her age. She has a number of different techniques that she can call upon in her arsenal, with her most favored being the liquid memory technique which grants her absolute control over all moisture in an area while in combat. In a vein similar to the magnetism users of the Kazekage Clan, Hina surrounds her person with water that she can utilize for offensive and defensive purposes. While the technique would grant anyone a great edge in battle, her chakra control and her reserves as an Uzumaki bring the technique to even greater heights.

By summoning a massive amount of water, she is able to perform other techniques using the liquid memory as a base. When on the offensive, Hina unhesitatingly lashes out with powerful, wide-spread techniques to fit any given situation. When fighting on the water, she can create pressurized projectiles of water to pierce into a target, or manipulate it to take the form of a massive, vortex-like waterfall to wash away everything around her. However, being a true master, Hina is able to utilize powerful techniques even without the need of any nearby source: summoning a rushing, surge of water to knock enemies off their feet. Arguably the greatest testament to her prowess is her ability to utilize the legendary water dragon
Hina’s water drgon breaks through even an earth dome without losing power
with need of only a single hand seal: possessing enough power to shatter even high-level earth release techniques, but also smash through a pair of rashomon gates. When acting defensively, Hina is able to knead chakra within her body and expel it as either a powerful wall to defend against attacks, or as a dense barricade that can extinguish flames that would ordinarily require the aid of several Water Release users working together.
Fūinjutsu[]
Although she is first and foremost a master of water release, Hina is also, as a full-blooded descendant of the Uzumaki Clan, a prodigous sealsmistress. Unlike her skills in the water element, where she had to teach herself, she grew up with instruction from both her mother and father; two accomplished sealers in their own rights. Starting even before her entry into the Ame academy, Hina spent much of her childhood being taught in the theory and functions of seals. After learning her clan's signature seal her affinity in the field developed at a rapid level: growing to where she could manifest special chains that, while a still incomplete technique, had the ability to completely neutralize chakra.
As Hina continued studying, she also developed a number of useful techniques to add to her arsenal. Ranging from simple tags and arrays to hinder her opponents, to more powerful seals that can manifest as prisms of light that compress around targets or are even capable of sealing away others into a completely separate dimensions. More defensive and supplementary aspects of Hina's fūinjutsu knowledge allows her to perform element inscriptions to break down different nature transformation techniques: be it the traditional five basic natures, advanced natures, or even the more powerful Kekkei Tōta such as Dust Release. Arguably the greatest testament to her prowess as a sealsmistress is her ability to affect the seals of others by disrupting them to various degrees. Hina can also perform a quick release through the use of pre-made transcriptions or a more powerful unraveling that is capable of undoing even Jinchūrikki seals.

- Hina's hair is not actually the blue that it appears. In fact, she inherited the signature Uzumaki red-hair, though a noticeably deeper, blood-red hue. Similar to Tsunade and her advanced transformation technique, Hina utilizes a unique piece of Fūinjutsu which changes her hair from its naturally auburn color to the icy-blue.
