A product of the generic genjutsu granted by the Sharingan, the user is able to implant a Genjutsu onto his opponent, but only have the Genjutsu take effect later on after a set amount of time. Densetsu has been seen using it numerous times, mainly to confuse his opponents and create unexpected openings. The strength of the technique is that it may be activated in the thick of an intense battle, where a Genjutsu would be least expected and anticipated.
A simple demonstration of the technique was when Densetsu fought his brother, Kazuo Uchiha. The moment the battle started and the two had activated their Sharingan, Densetsu had already implanted the Genjutsu into his brother, which activated three minutes into the fight. Kazuo was tricked into believing that Densetsu was further away then he actually was in reality, hence allowing the latter to land a knockout blow to the former's jaw.
Densetsu had also used the technique to make Eji Arata believe that his attack had struck the Uchiha, only for him to inadvertently leave an opening in his own defense which Densetsu used to defeat him. Arata's ability to detect and foil Genjutsu had left Densetsu's more basic Genjutsu useless, so Densetsu resorted to planting the trap and executing the moment Arata seemed to gain the upper hand.
