Hiru (昼) is the younger sister of Tsuki and the the co-first mate serving under Nisshō abord the Ace of Spades. Like her brother she is a Tokubetsu Jōnin, and she also serves as the Second Lord of the Council.

Background

Hiru and Tsuki were residents of the Land of Merchants before Nisshō arrived to claim the area as his personal land. As children, they lived in what would become Wave City under Nisshō's Regime. While Tsuki showed signs of inheriting their clans Kekkei Genkai the Blood Release, Hiru did not, causing the two to have separate training regiments.

As a young girl, Hiru would be taught Medical Ninjutsu as well as the use of Water Release, and Strong Fist, while Tsuki trained in the use of his blood manipulation. When the two would spar they were on even footing, as Hiru was skilled in using her legs and fighting with kicks, while simultaneously launching a blast of water from nearby reserves or in extreme cases generating it from her chakra.

Abilities

Both Tsuki and Hiru have considerable chakra reserves, as well as innate combat abilities. The twins are however vastly different as Tsuki inherited the clans Blood Release while Hiru did not. This caused a divide in their training, with Hiru being a skilled medical kunoichi with an aptitude for the Water Release and more recently with Space–Time Ninjutsu, while Tsuki relies heavily on his use of his Kekkei Genkai.
