Honoka Nara is a former member of Konohagakure's ANBU faction Root. During her time as an active duty kunoichi, she served as the Medical-Nin of Team Fūma, She strongly prefers to go by her codename: Soku (鏃, Soku).

Early Life[]
After her Father's Suzaku Nara Death in 3rd Great Ninja War and later after the war ended her brother, Ensui Nara enrolled Honoka into the Anbu Black Ops after Honoka's spotless record in the Genin Exams. When she originally joined Root, she was trained and partnered with Hyō. few years later, the duo would disband as Hyō - using the codename - Sho was later killed by rogue Hunter-nin. She later becomes a member of Team Fūma.
Team Fūma (Honoka, Yaga Dotoru, Hiro Inuzuka, and Yoshi Fūma), is sent to find a one of Hiruzen's ANBU in possession of a scroll containing information about a traitor, who manages to signal Handly.

Despite being a member of Root, Honoka struggled to lose emotions in order to better accomplish missions and express herself in cold manner. Regardless, she is a very loyal shinobi that follows any and all orders given to her by Danzō. After the death of Hyō, she struggles to deal with her emotions even more, eventually retiring from Anbu.

Honoka wears an standard ANBU gear that consists of black clothing, a grey flak jacket, metal arm guards and gloves, ninja sandals with spikes for traveling into mountainous regions, three ninja pouches on their back-waist and a signature spiral tattoo on their shoulder.

Ninjutsu[]
Honoka's nature transformations include Yin Release, which she commonly uses to perform his hiden techniques, as well as Water Release. She, he has shown to be able to use fūinjutsu, as seen when she tried to use Four-Corner Sealing Barrier against Kakuzu's lightning technique into a scroll, and when she unsealed an Water Release: Wild Water Wave against his Wind Release and from a scroll to use as a medium to electrocute Kakuzu. She can create clones of herself, either by flowing chakra into his shadow and shape them, or by using the Shadow Clone Technique.
Nara Clan Techniques[]
As a member of the Nara clan, Honoka is able to manipulate her own shadow. Her signature move is the Shadow Imitation Shuriken Technique, which in the she learned by the time she entered the Academy. By connecting his shadow to a target's, Honoka can use the Shadow Imitation Shuriken Technique; by infusing the blades with his own chakra beforehand, they are given the effect of his shadow techniques. By using these weapons to pierce the enemies' shadows, they are paralyzed in place. To pierce the shadow, it is necessary to avoid the target just barely - Since it is more difficult for the enemy to notice it, this ninjutsu compensates for the weak point of the similar Shadow Imitation Technique, being its limited effective range and using her shadows to pierce targets and pick up giant things.
By adulthood, her speed with the technique allowed him to capture the Hokage and their bodyguards before they could react, with only herself having the capabilities to free herself. Honoka also imbues her senbon and kunai with a poison that can debilitate and paralyze someone with a scratch. She can either fire senbon from a concealed wrist-mounted device, or from her mouth in quick succession.

Honoka is skilled in kenjutsu, wielding special made, Tantō that she can use in quick and rapid succession managing to even catch Yaga Dotoru - Her Teammate of guard with skills and speed.
Prologue[]
Sarutobi Clan Bombings Arc[]
Dissatisfaction is beginning to run high within the other members of the Uchiha clan. The Uchiha even started inserting its members within Konoha's command structure to act as spies. This caused more the Uchihas to be monitored even more closely, in according to this event, the famous Sarutobi Clan was bombed in conjunction with the Konoha Military Police Force also being bombed by an mysterious duo, members of Root were tasked with investigating, Danzo then assigns/sends Yoshi, Sora and Honaka to investigate the string of mysterious bombings by the duo. Sora using his Byakugan, using its 360 vision to find the duo in Takigakure - the village hidden in the trees. The duo, specifically Munashi, using his Nuibari to badly Injury Sora's leg with rapid succession before Honoka using her Shadow Imitation Shuriken Technique to sling a multiple Kunai's at Yagura, who quickly got close to her and performed a disemboweling maneuver, but the Honoka her attacked turned out to only be a Water Clone. Yoshi then attacked Munashi with a Fire Release: Dragon Fire Technique, Munashi but dispersed the flames with his Water Wall Technique.
He began to spar with Munashi, but soon noticed that Munashi was guiding him towards something. Guessing that Yagura had concealed himself somewhere in order to catch him in a genjutsu, Sora discretely located Yagura's hiding spot. He began striking Yagura's tenketsu, but was interrupted by an attack from Munashi, directed at the Byakugan's blindspot. Munashi grabbed Sora by the throat and started to strangle him. Though Yoshi was having difficulty moving because of Munashi's previous attack, he nevertheless tried to intervene, approaching Yoshi with his Light Release -Kekkei Genkai - active. Munashi warned him that the Light Release's genjutsu wouldn't work on him, prompting Honoka to wonder if the same was true of her Bringer-of-Darkness Technique.
So, Yoshi considering Sora as a True Friend and despite Munashi's Warning, he throws multiple Shuriken combining: Shadow Shuriken Technique with Light Release: Genjutsu Shadow to casts a Genjutsu with light under the Projectile making it think there two objects instead of one and confuse Munashi enough to slash Yagura's left eye with Fūma Sword in rapid motion. Sora activated his Byakugan against the immobilized Yagura. As a result of his defeat, he cut open his own stomach, activating a jutsu meant to prevent him from being interrogated if and when his spying activities were ever discovered, then Munashi almost kills his teammate with his Nuibari to conceal all intel to take away from his body but can't bring himself to do it.
Honoka quickly restrains him with Shadow Imitation Technique binding him against a thick oak Tree, With Munashi also trapped in the Genjutsu, Yoshi completed his main mission taking the Sharingan. Before he dies, Munashi confesses to his crimes so that Yagura who will be tried in Konoha will not be persecuted for anything he did and takes the full blame of his actions. Yoshi transported Munashi's Sharingan back to Danzō, who, with the help of Orochimaru, transplanted the Sharingan into another Anbu - Yaga Dotoru - himself. Orochimaru also surgically replaced Danzō's right arm with Shin Uchiha's, infusing the limb with Hashirama Senju's DNA to modify his physical energy. Yaga is ordered by Danzō Shimura not reveal his Sharingan and keep a bandage over his eye when not wearing a mask. This is for fear of Uchiha Clan retaliation. Because he wasn't a born Uchiha, Yaga was technically forbidden to learn any of the clan's advanced techniques.
