The Hoshino Clan is a founding shinobi family of Okagakure.

Background

There have been fifteen heads of the Hoshino clan throughout its history. Taisuke is slated to become the sixteenth head of the clan.

Overview

Certain members of the Hoshino clan possess the Light Release kekkei genkai, which allows these particular members to manipulate light energy for various purposes. It can be used to illuminate dark areas or flash foes. It can also be formed into a shield, whip, projectiles or even an intense blast.

The clan is considered to be one of the most powerful clans. A testament of their prowess is the fact that two members achieved the position of Okakage.
