The Hyouden clan (氷田, field of eternal snow) is a clan that is situated within the Village Hidden in the Snow. Lead by the current clan head, Ooyuki Hyouden is one of the most influencal clans in history. The Hyouden clan early on in history was graced with the Utsugan as well as being skilled with Ice Release.

Abilities[]
Skilled in Artic Warfare, the Hyouden clan members fight soely as avengers. Early on in history, they were exiled to the cold harsh eviroment after their defeat at the hands of the Senju clan. They mastered a Dojutsu that eventually grew within all clan members called the Utsugan that let them mold chakra over distances. After years of living in the cold eviroment, the clan mastered the conversion of Water Release and Wind Release to create Ice Release. Some notable members such as Reikaku Hyouden have also gained the ability to exert massive amounts of chakra, rivaling that of a Tailed Beast.

- The Hyouden clan was once known as the Kouya clan (Plains), but after their movement to Yukigakure they changed their name to fit the enviroment.
- Despite having a powerful eye technique, in history the Hyouden clan is rarely mentioned.
