The user, either through physical contact or remotely, causes ice particles to form on a target. If used on a living creature, the target will freeze to death unless they are able coat themselves with chakra and dedicating all their energy to keeping themselves warm, they can avoid death; if they use their chakra to perform a technique, they will start to rapidly freeze again. Its usefulness in neutralizing shinobi is on par with Fire Release: Heavenly Prison.
