Inuyoshi (犬義経,Inuyoshi) is a powerful Ninken summon that rivals other beast in size and power. Inuyoshi is a proud member of Dan's Hakkenshi, who has fought alongside Dan countless times. One of his more infamous battles happened during Dan's involvement in the war against the Land of Demons. Where Inuyoshi used his impressive swordsman skill to take apart a towering beast. After which, he earned his title as The Hill of Dogs Great Swordsman (剣豪,Kengō).
Background[]
Not much is known about Inuyoshi. However, he was one of three dogs summoned by Dan in his battle against the Land of Demons. Where Inuyoshi made his name known as the Great Swordsman. Inuyoshi has been called for various battles as well. He trained Dan in the art of using his own swords in battle.
Personality[]
Inuyoshi is a dog of immense honor and loyalty. So much so, his forehead is branded with a massive Yakigakure headband. To compliment his samurai based theme, he follows his code of Bushido strictly. He has never attacked an unprepared opponent, or dishonored his Inu name. To him, battle is an art that demands high respect. Only fools rush into war for sadistic pleasure. Perhaps the only member of Hakkenshi too, Inuyoshi addresses Dan with the -sama honorific. Displaying his loyalty to Lord Inuzuka. Inuyoshi happens to be one of few dogs that value human life. During situations that prove threatening, Inuyoshi has broken his morals to protect those in danger.
Inuyoshi developed a close bond between himself and Chosho, Dan's little sister. He constantly refers to her as Princess Chosho (著書姫, Choshohime). His views upon Konmei fall short of arrogant, bestial, and overall inferior. Yet they till hold a close connection. This has been seen during times in which Inuyoshi risked his life to protect Konmei from larger foes. Inuyoshi holds high regards for other hounds of his home. All except one. He exhibits great disdain towards Mitō and their rash behavior. Telling Dan he'd rather lose a war than fight alongside that beast.
Inuyoshi, as with other Hakkenshi members, will usually follow Dan's direct orders. It is rare for him to argue. And even so, less of an occurrence to ignore him. Dan's words are stronger than his code of Bushido. As This came about after he realized that Dan is a positive force. A person whose powers are solely used for protecting his loved ones. Something he admires and wishes to follow himself.

Inuyoshi is a dark dog. A pure black beast that resembles midnight. His white eyes surrounds his being in a hellish energy.
