Itsuki Senju (千手樹, Senju Itsuki), famed as the Red Tree (赤樹, Akaki), is a member of the Senju Clan, born prior to the beginning of the Warring States Period. Itsuki is also credited as the reincarnation of Asura Ōtsutsuki prior to Hashirama Senju.

Itsuki sought peace for the shinobi world, hired alongside his clan by the forming countries to fight their battles for them, their involvement eventually leading to the creation of the Land of Fire.

Background

Born during the Founding Clans Period, Itsuki grew up as a member of the Senji Clan, eventually being hired alongside the rest of his clan to fight the wars between countries during the beginning of the Warring States Period.

Trivia

• The name Itsuki means "Tree", and a rival to Rekka Uchiha, with Rekka meaning "raging fire".
• His descendants would carry his signature red hair and settle down on the Land of Whirlpools as the Uzumaki Clan.
