Jeikobu Junrei-sha (鬼灯満月, Jeikobu Junrei-sha), reputed as the "Blue Flash of the Mist" (鬼人の再来, Kijin no Sairai),[1] was a shinobi from Kirigakure's Junrei-sha clan. He was also a member of the next generation of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist.
Background[]
Jeikobu trained with the intention of becoming a member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. This dream acted as his motivation for him to complete cruel missions day by day. Jeikobu eventually succeeded in becoming a member of the Seven Swordsmen, mastering Hiramekarei. He also studied the techniques used by Minato Namikaze, envious of his skill of the Space-Time Ninjutsu.
Appearance[]
Jeikobu has relatively long, light-blue hair and pointed, shark-like teeth — the latter trait which all known members of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist possess. His outfit consists of light-coloured pants and striped leg-warmers typical of his village. He carries a summoning scroll attached to a belt around his waist and wears bandages around his neck — another trait shared by the seven swordsmen — and the standard Kirigakure forehead protector.
Abilities[]
As one of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, Jeikobu was one of the most powerful shinobi produced within Kirigakure. Jeikobu is very skilled with Space-Time Ninjutsu, being renowned for his summoning techniques and timid time altering jutsu. Jeikobu is also capable of using Flying Thunder God Technique, but unlike Minato Namikaze this can only be achieved with Hiramekarei.
Taijutsu[]
One of Jeikobu's trademark attributes is his immense speed and instantaneous reflexes, he is said to be as fast as Minato Namikaze. However, he has almost no upper body strength. Jeikobu's hand to hand combat is laughable at best, he can barely lift Hiramekarei.
Ninjutsu[]
Space–Time Ninjutsu[]
Jeikobu is famous for his space–time technique. He had learned how to use Minato's signature technique, the Flying Thunder God Technique, which essentially allowed him to teleport to any location with untraceable movements Minato had through the use of special seals. But, unlike Minato, he can only accomplish this with a single seal placed on Hiramekarei.
For defensive use, Jeikobu is capable of implementing Space-Time Barriers to counter large attacks, sending the blast to a different location.
Summoning Technique[]
In his youth, Jeikobu's teacher taught him how to use the Summoning Technique to summon Rats. He could use the Summoning: Food Cart Destroyer Technique for a devastating surprise attack.
Kenjutsu[]
Jeikobu is a very gifted swordsman, having been accepted into the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist. However, his lack of strength and stamina means that he gets tired easily when weilding Hiramekarei. Keikobu often uses the Hiramekerai in succession with his summoning and teleportation justsu by throwing Hiramekerai and either summoning it back to him to deliver a blow or teleporting to it's location using Flying Thunder God Technique.
