Jin Mizuumi (静湖 Mizuumi Jin) is a shinobi from Kirigakure. A member of the Mizuumi Clan, Jin is the son of Ai Mizuumi and Momoko Kotone. Formerly a member of Team Akira, Jin is now a young jōnin and, like his father, hunter-nin.

Jin is the only child of Ai Mizuumi and Momoko Kotone, born in Kirigakure after the Fourth Shinobi World War.
Personality[]
Jin is a dour and tactiturn young man, preferring actions to words. He has a silent passion that is at odds with his cool and aloof demeanor. While polite and humble, Jin is also proactive and decisive, unafraid to seize initiative. Like his father, he is soft-spoken.
Jin has the serene and dispassionate demeanor of a Zen monk. He does not revel in battle but also doesn't turn away from it. Jin considered struggle and battle a good way to discover one's true self. As the son of a shinobi and samurai, he fought in a way that incorporated elements of both philosophies, yet was beholden to neither.
Appearance[]
Jin has messy black hair and pale skin. His eyes are amber in color. Like other shinobi from Kirigakure, Jin wore the traditional pin-striped turtleneck jumpsuit and sea-blue kimono. In contrast to fellow shinobi, Jin wears plate armor shin guards, gauntlets, curiass, and samurai style shoulder armor on his right shoulder. His sword, Amatsubu, is tied to his waist via an obi patterned with waves. In combat gear, his face is obscured by a hunter-nin mask: Jin's personal mask features a thick blue line descending down the entire face from the right eye. He often wears a necklace made of meditation beads.
His casual attire consists of a simple black turtleneck and slacks or a sea-blue kimono.
Abilities[]
Being a descendant of bloodlines of powerful shinobi and samurai, Jin is considered something of a prodigy. Other shinobi from his village think Jin has a bright future. He is skilled in many kinds of jutsu, blending shinobi techniques with the samurai disciplines of kenjutsu.

Nature Transformation[]
Jin has an affinity for Water Release and Lightning Release. Like his father, Jin is able to combine the two nature transformations thanks to his kekkei genkai to utilize Storm Release. He also has skill in Wind Release, although in more of a supportive or back-up style.
Kenjutsu[]
Jin wields a katana named Amatsubu (雨粒, Literally meaning: Raindrop). He is trained in many fields and styles of sword fighting. Notably, he is skilled in the samurai style of iaidō.
