After the war the Land of Iron settled into a lull of peace that allowed the samurai to prosper instead of constantly fight the ninja. Among these samurai was Kakeru, a budding Samurai who desperately wanted to protect his country. Kakeru became a very promising warrior as he climbed the ranks of the army to the place of captain. During a particularly close battle with an army from the North most region Kakeru was captured and tortured for a year, refusing to give up information. When a team finally rescued him his brain was out of whack from the constant pain and struggle to keep his mental stability. He kept mumbling something about how a terrible fate would befall the samurai and how he had seen horrible things. Due to his constant rantings and disturbing the peace he was banished from the Land of Iron and forced to walk the world alone. He roamed the world until he met Choryuu who was out on a mission. The two became friends due to their similar interest in weapons and Choryuu invited him to join Dead Man's Hand. With no other place in the world Kakeru accepted the offer.
Kakeru was always a master of chakra control, even at a young age people could tell. His massive reserves combined with his massive amount of control allowed him to perform incredible feats with it. Two feats in particular gave Kakaeru his fame. In a battle Kakeru created a blanket of swords made of pure charka that he fired off into opposing forces, cutting their numbers by half. On another occasion he performed his most famed feat. Kakeru created an army of chakra clones, armed with swords and armor that charged the opposing army. This assault killed every person in his path but the massive amount of copies of himself and the chakra it took to keep them from dying in one hit left him exhausted.

Modified Petrification Gauntlet[]
Kakeru uses a modified petrifaction gauntlet made by Kimuchi for him. This Gauntlet can turn people to stone as well as control it but it also possesses a very powerful attribute. Kimcuchi replaced the chemical section that turns people to stone with an emitter that turns chakra to stone. This effectively allows him to turn people to stone through their chakra systems as well as turn attacks made of chakra to stone.
