Kansaki Sasaki (佐々木神咲 Sasaki Kamisaki) was the First Mizukage (初代水影, Shodai Mizukage, literally meaning: First or Founding Water Shadow) and the founder of Kirigakure in the Land of Water and the former head of the Sasaki Clan, one of the Three Great Noble Clans in the village.

Warring States Period[]
Kansaki was born into the Sasaki Clan during the Warring States Period. His exact birthplace was unknown even to him. At the time of her birth, his clan was on the run, to escape from the conflict of the constant war that engulfed the world as they escaped off the main land and hid out on an island within an archipelago (which was the future location of the Land of Water). Together, they staked their claim on the land by creating a thriving village protected by the ocean and hidden by the mist, creating an economy with the inhabitants of the other islands who were ordinary people who also sought safety from the wars, ignorant of the clans life as shinobi.

However, as the wars grew, the waters eventually became a battlefield, as pirates and shinobis sought to take advantage of the open waters for their agendas became another source of conflict and had pillaged the trade ships that the populace depended on to survive. The archipelago's inhabitants was dying. Kansaki's mother became sick do to lack of food and medical equipment being shipment. Therefore Kansaki's father many clan members made an attempt to reach the main land, due to being shinobis and thus more capable of defending themselves to gather these materials for the islanders, which the clan head reluctantly complied with, however, Kansaki's mother died shortly after their departure and the boats and clansmen failed to return from their travels. The Sasaki Clan attempted to flee again in order to ensure their survival while leaving the other islanders to suffer. Kansaki, was against the idea, unable to abandon the other islanders.

Kansaki was a tall man with lean toned and muscular body with a light skin tone. He has long blue hair that is kept slicked back with a few strains for hair left over as bangs. His eyes are sharp and moderately narrow, having irises a blood red color, and their pupils a dark red and are framed by thin eyebrows.
Abilities[]
As the previous First Mizukage, one of the Five Kage's, Kansaki was recognized as the strongest shinobi in the village and regarded as one of the most powerful shinobi in the world in his time. As the First Mizukage, Anubis had the highest authority over the entirety of Kirigakure, overseeing the activities of his village and had total operational command of the entire shinobi military of Kirigakure, from sending ninja on missions to making the hard decisions regarding the safety of his people, with only the Daimyo of the Land of Water superior to him and due to his affiliation with the Daimyo, he had cooperation with thousands of shinobi forces living within the Land of Water and overseen the activities of his village and held the responsibility in leading them to prosperity.
