Katsumi is a high ranked jonin-captain level shinobi of Kirigakure. Despite his very young age Katsumi is unbelievable skilled for his age and as such is one of the youngest shinobi ever to graduate from the Kiri academy at such a young age and become a jonin. Katsumi is praised as a prodigy and for this reason he was selected to be a bodyguard of the 7th Mizukage, Norio Uzumaki. He is also the student of Mei Tanaka and a member of Kiri's Uchiha Assassination Squad. Many underestimate his skills do to his age, but those from Kirigakure know better not to underestimate Katsumi as he has earned the feared and praised moniker the Deathdealer.
