Keika Uzumaki (うずまき螢火, Uzumaki Keika) is a recurring character in the third and final saga of Diaries of the Hidden Waterfall, a long-form fanfiction by User:NejiHyuga2.
The eldest daughter and second child of the Seventh Hokage, Keika is a citizen of Konohagakure and was a currently attending student of the Academy. Following the events of the Ōtsutsuki Invasion, she graduated from the Academy and was placed on Team 22. She also serves as the Vessel for Urashiki Ōtsutsuki's Kāma.

Keika is the second child and first daughter of Neji Hyūga and Wakame Uzumaki. At the age of one, she received a younger sister, Himawari. Like her older brother, Keika grew up alongside the children of her parents' close friends, including Shikadai Nara, Inojin Yamanaka, Chōchō Akimichi, Metal Lee, and Sarada Uchiha, among others. Unlike her older brother who struck a close relationship with Shikadai, Keika's greatest friendship was with the similarly-aged Yunomi Uchiha, Sarada's younger sister, much to her older brother's chagrin. She remained friends with the young Uchiha up until both entered the Academy.
Several months before her fifth birthday, Keika was to attend the ceremony in which her mother would be inaugurated as Seventh Hokage following the abdication of Kakashi Hatake. Having went ahead of her siblings, she waited for them to arrive but her father sent her home to check on them only for Keika to find that her brother and sister were fighting over a stuffed panda. Keika also reported to her father that her mother had lost consciousness for some reason and that someone else would have to pretend to be her mother for the ceremony. Keika spent the rest of the time repairing the stuffed panda and comforting her younger sister while she was confused at how her older brother kept muttering about how he will never anger Himawari again.
Personality[]
Keika Uzumaki is to put it simply a rascal who wants nothing more than to stay with the family she loves. She holds great admiration for her mother, the Seventh Hokage and the strongest mother possible; unlike her older brother, Keika did not harbor much hatred for her mother for being consistently absent from her life upon ascending into the office of Hokage. Even as a child, she could understand her mother's duty to not only protect her legitimate family but her extended family—that is, every citizen in Konoha—something her brother does not understand. Nonetheless, Keika is level-headed enough to be able to mostly keep her brother from exploding in anger at their mother; this stems from the fact that her affections for her older brother isn't simply limited to familial love—even if it is taboo, she has harbored romantic love for her brother ever since she was nine years old.
Her love for family is so great that she is willing to do go to any length to protect them as shown when she sacrificed her body to Urashiki Ōtsutsuki to prevent him from using Himawari in the same capacity; this comes to a great shock to her family, especially her brother who had also been branded with the Kāma by another Ōtsutsuki....
Appearance[]
As an Uzumaki, Keika possesses the signature crimson locks of the clan which even at age eleven already grow past her upper back despite her older brother sharing their mother's hair color; indeed, Wakame has stated that Keika shares such a similar appearance with her mother that she could mistake Keika as her mother's reincarnation. She also has deep grey eyes, a rather sharp contrast to her brother's and younger sister's blue eyes. Unlike her younger sister, Keika's Byakugan remains her natural eye color, a unique trait that intrigues her father. She is, of course, naturally beautiful, being able to draw in stares despite having only beginning to mature into an adult; many assume that Keika will grow into a magnificent beauty. Her allure has even garnered a nickname from the Academy teachers: "Hyūga's Vermillion Lotus".

Keika's Byakugan.
At the age of four due to her Hyūga heritage, Keika subconsciously awakened the Byakugan in a sparring match with her older brother; this greatly impressed her father and granduncle who applauded her for awakening it without any prior training. Following this, Keika was able to consciously access the dōjutsu after continued training with her brother and her father (on occasions, her first cousins once removed Hinata and Hanabi would train her as well). Unlike other Byakugan, however, Keika's Byakugan is a medium grey, her natural eye shade; this makes her different from her younger sister whose normally blue eyes morph to the white of the Byakugan. Other than that, her Byakugan takes on the characteristic featureless appearance with bulging temples around her eyes. With her Byakugan, she has a near-360° vision (except for a small blind spot beginning from the upper thoracic vertebrae), can see through solid surfaces and great distances, and also clearly perceive the chakra pathway system. By the time she entered the Academy, she is able to maintain her Byakugan for hours at a time.

Keika began developing the Tenseigan when she was branded with the Kāma; it all started several days later when she began feeling painful pulsations in her eyes much to her mother's shock who had been informed on how Toneri also suffered regular painful pulsations while Hanabi's implanted Byakugan matured into Tenseigan. After four days, her Byakugan fully matured into a Tenseigan and immediately displayed the ability to control attractive and repulsive forces. A day later, she manifested the ability to enter Tenseigan Chakra Mode which grants her increased strength, speed, and durability, to the point that she's able to equally contend with her mother in her Sage Mode-enhanced Nine-Tails Chakra Mode in sparring sessions. Upon being notified of Keika's Tenseigan, Hinata would coach Keika on how to use her Tenseigan as Hinata possesses one herself. She is able to condense the chakra cloak into a single hand (and with later on with further training, a single finger) to create a tremendously powerful chakra blast that is capable of depleting someone of their chakra as well as decimate a large portion of surrounding landscape. She is also able to summon and control a golem that was able to fight on equal terms with Kurama over fifteen years prior.
Entering Tenseigan Chakra Mode grants Keika twelve Truth-Seeking Balls and mastery over all five basic nature transformations as well as Yin Release, Yang Release, and Yin-Yang Release. She is capable of using the black orbs for both offensive and defensive purposes; she can also use them for mundane everyday purposes, as seen when she surprised her younger sister with three new opulent vases made out of a single orb when Kawaki accidentally broke one. By infusing the orbs with chakra, she is able to create a silver raging typhoon and a large golden sword. TBA
