Kemuri Kiritateru (Smoke Slash, 煙切り立てる, Kiritateru Kemuri) is one of the seven courageous generals of Kenizuru, the legion of true samurai fighting to liberate the Iron Country from shinobi relations. A master of smokescreen, Kemuri hails from the noble house of Kiritateru, the Slash. Emerging as one of, if the not the best ronin from his family.
With his prowess, he has managed to lead his own faction in his legion of pro-samurai independence activists. A God to his men, he is a man of great courage, hidden behind a veil of gray. Utilizing his smoke on the field of conflict, he is known as the Demon Swordsmen in the Smokescreen, for his way of hiding in the smoke to kill his enemies, similar to the Hiding in the Mist technique of the Mist.
A killer of men, many have fallen to his poisoned blade. A loyal soldier to bushidō, and the Kenizuru's force, he serves as a powerful figure in the Land of Iron. Spreading hate for the ways of shinobi, and promoting the ways of the ronin, and opposing all those in the way of samurai independence.
