The Kesugan (消す眼, Literally meaning: Erase Eye) is a non-combat dōjutsu that is utilized by the Namikaze and the Hyūga clan bloodline mixture. It's characterized by a dark eye with a red pupil. And red veins are clearly visible on the dark sclera.

Background[]

The Kesugan was manifested by Okashī Namikaze. The eye is manifest because of the bloodline mixture of the Namikaze clan and the Hyūga Clan. In most Hyūga and Namikaze bloodline combination this eye usually manifest at age 15 with training but Okashī Namikaze have shown to awaken it at age 10. On cue to awakening the Kesugan has been shown to have a unique chakra. A slow but sharp chakra that is usually the color purple.

Ability’s[]

The Kesugan has been shown to have the ability to erase chakra. Unlike the Rinnegan and the Tenseigan. The user doesn’t have the ability to absorb nor reflect it. They just simply dissipate the Jutsu. Okashī says it’s more like negating the Jutsu entirely. The user has also been shown to be able to seal Senjutsu, tailed beast chakra, and even the 8 gates and dōjutsu from the target. Making them incapable of using technique that have been sealed until the sealer undo the seal.

The Kesugan can also have the same insight of the Byakugan. Where he can sense a 360º degree angle around the user. And he also can see to a 30 meter distance around him. The user can “See” chakra different color differentiated between chakra type. And also see keirakurei which is 361 pinprick-sized nodes called tenketsu, or chakra points. Though the user can not see through thick wall and such.
