Kiryū Gensō (気流幻想, Literally: Illusory Air Current) is the trademark technique style of Megami Otsuihō which utilizes infrasonic pulses of sound, generated via the Wind Release, in order to facilitate illusions. As genjutsu utilizing sound do not require direct contact between the user and their victims, techniques derived from Kiryū Gensō allow the user to remain hidden while implementing their illusions. Furthermore, Megami has demonstrated that illusions stemming from this technique can ensnare multiple enemies simultaneously, and that she can set up persistent illusions that effect areas rather than individuals. It is through this technique that Megami has received the majority of her recognition over the years.
On a side note, Megami has demonstrated the ability to detect, and counteract, sound based illusions with greater ease due to her use of this technique. While not a direct product of this technique this skill likely stems from the training required to develop this technique.
