Komushi (コムシ) was a was a young shinobi from Sunagakure who became the youngest puppeteer in the legendary Puppet Brigade during the Third Shinobi World War before getting turned into a human puppet by his partner Sasori after his death.

Komushi was a powerful puppeteer, able to use all ten puppets of Monzaemon Chikamatsu to pass Chiyo’s test for joining the Puppet Brigade, becoming the youngest member in the organization. He was also capable of chakra threads and the Puppet Technique for noncombative use, for instance using them to use this puppet arm. His attached prosthetic arm is also equipped with an extendable hidden blade from the palm to be used offensively, coated in special made poison. He also wields a puppet, Samurai, which he built himself and used throughout his tenure in the Puppet Brigade before it was destroyed by Sasori with his Hiruko puppet, leading to his death.
He also seemed knowledgeable in herbs since he could distinguish the rarity of the herbs on Sasori’s poison ingredients list.
Legacy[]
After Komushi’s death, Sasori turned him into a human puppet, resulting in him being labeled as an S-rank missing-nin after Chiyo discovered the grisly and evil deed her grandson had just committed. Komushi inspired many subsequent puppeteers after his death, including Kankurō who became the leader of the revived Puppet Brigade back to prominence.
